T3 magazine’s target readership is predominantly male this is shown through the scantily clad woman on the cover and throughout the magazine posing with technology and gadgets although this is irrelevant to the articles and the technology featured it will appeal mostly to a male audience.

The target age group for T3 reader would be in the 27-40 age group

The target social group for T3 is middle class or upper middle class pepole who can afford and want to have every latest gadget that comes out or this magazine targets aspirers who cannot really afford to have every latest gadget but buy it anyways

I think this magazine does not target any particular race but the majority of readers are white

Front page

MastheadThe title of this magazine is T3 and it Is prominently displayed at the top of the magazine to make it clearly visible to people in stores and it is instantly identifiable.

Central imageThe central image is a woman posing wearing some technology this will appeal to the predominantly male audience and also shows some tech also the model appears to be in a cupboard of some sort giving us the impression she is in there with all the tech and if we open the magazine we will get to see more

cover linesThis page has a lot of text on it and it the titles are bold and eye catching so that people skimming through the magazines can see it and want to read the article also the number 101 is used because pepole prefer round numbers and 101 makes it feel like a lot because its more than 100

Barcode/priceThe barcode and price are displayed at the front so that the customer can quickly tell what the price is and to help organise sales and distribution

T3 has a colour scheme based around six different colours within their magazine. Red is used for titles as it stands out more than a lighter colour would over a background. The subtitles and small details are in orange. At the top of the page the text switches tones in between black and white. This is probably to give a more artistic/interesting effect and also helps it stand out from the white background.

StraplineThe strapline in this magazine lets the customer quickly know what the magazine is about

The layout of the front page is very boxy and grid like indicating that this magazines target audience is predominately male.

Article

This is an article from T3’s play section about an exclusive Nintendo game for there then new Nintendo games console and how it is produced by one of the creators of hardcore games to show that Nintendo games aren’t just for kids anymore and they are aimed at a wider audience now. This article takes up about one third of the page and is surrounded by relevant information such as other game reviews an some other titles that are great to play on Nintendo consoles assuming if you are interested in this article you probably own a Nintendo console. The colours used in this article fit in with their house style and uses green and black which are two of their six theme colours and green and black are the theme colours for the games section. It is well suited to the magazine because it is about technology so fits in the magazine and it is about games so it fits in the game section in the play section and it fits the house style and themes because it is again very grid like and boxy so it is definitely targeting a male audience and it used the T3 theme colours

advertising

29.4% of the magazine is advertising.

The products advertised is this magazine are technology and gadgets such as the Samsung galaxy line of phones Panasonic's lumix line of cameras and the headphones shown to the left of this text

All the adverts featured in this magazine are about tech and located around the relevant articles and sections an example of this is the advert to the right of this text.

Above on the right is an article on essential travel kit and things such as headphones are mentioned so to the right of this article is an advert for headphones as people reading an article on travel essentials may be interested in buying headphones. The headphones featured are sport headphones and the article also has information about camping and so they may live a sporty active lifestyle and these headphones would fit that lifestyle perfectly
