3.(1) An objection (in writing) to a proposed road closure mentioned in the Schedule may be lodged with the Regional Service Director,

Notice is hereby given that on Tuesday 31 October 2017 theNapranum Aboriginal Shire Council made the Napranum AboriginalShire Council planning scheme alignment amendment underthe Alignment Amendment Rules and section 293 of thePlanning Act 2016 to the Napranum Aboriginal Shire CouncilPlanning Scheme. The alignment amendment will commence onFriday 22 December 2017.
The alignment amendment has the purpose and general effect ofaligning terminology with the Planning Act 2016 and makingcodes more robust for the purposes of development assessmentusing the new decision rules.

Notice is hereby given that on the 16th November 2017 NoosaCouncil made an Alignment Amendment to The Noosa Plan2006–Planning Act 2016 under the Alignment AmendmentRules and section 293 of the Planning Act 2016. The alignmentamendment will commence on 27 November 2017.
The alignment amendment has the purpose and general effect ofstrengthening the provisions contained in the AdvertisingDevices Code for development that is “acceptable developmentsubject to requirements”.

Notice is hereby given that on 21 November 2017 theToowoomba Regional Council adopted the Toowoomba RegionalPlanning Scheme – Amendment No. 18 (Alignment Amendment)under the Alignment Amendment Rules and section 293 of thePlanning Act 2016.
The amendment will commence on 24 November 2017.
The purpose and general effect of the amendment is to correcttwo (2) errors made through the adoption of Alignment AmendmentNo. 19 (commenced on 3 July 2017):– an unintentional change to the level of assessment for an

The purpose and effect of the planning schemepolicies is to support the Douglas Shire Planning Scheme 2018.
The Douglas Shire Planning Scheme 2018 and planning schemepolicies have effect on and from 2 January 2018.

Acquisition of Land Act 1967
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO RESUME
To: All persons who claim an estate or interest in the landdescribed in the Schedule derived through or under the registeredproprietor of that land, Jans Sorensen, deceased, and to all otherpersons claiming an estate or interest in the said land.
NOTICE is given under the provisions of the Acquisition of LandAct 1967, that Brisbane City Council, as a constructing authority,intends to take for parks purposes the land as described in theSchedule.
The decision to issue the Notice of Intention to Resume was madeby the Executive Manager, City Projects Office, as the delegate ofBrisbane City Council.
If you wish to object to the taking of the land you must send awritten objection to Brisbane City Council at the below address onor before 12 January 2018. In your written objection you must statethe grounds of the objection and the facts and circumstancesrelied on to support the objection. Any matter pertaining to theamount or payment of compensation is not a ground of objection.
If you desire to be heard in support of the grounds of yourobjection, you must state this in your written objection.
If you state that you wish to be heard you may appear and beheard by an agent of Brisbane City Council at the offices of theCity Projects Office, Meeting Room 2A-2, Level 2, 505 St PaulsTerrace, Fortitude Valley, at 10am on 17 January 2018. You mayappear in person or by counsel, solicitor or agent.
Brisbane City Council is willing to negotiate to acquire byagreement or, failing agreement, to deal with the compensationto be paid and all consequential matters in accordance withPart 4 of the Acquisition of Land Act 1967 .
If the Land is taken, then a claim for compensation may beserved on Brisbane City Council only within three years after theday the Land is taken.
Brisbane City Council may accept, and deal with, a claim forcompensation more than three years after the day the Land istaken if Brisbane City Council is satisfied it is reasonable in allthe circumstances to do so.
If Brisbane City Council does not accept a claim more than threeyears after the day the Land is taken the claimant may apply tothe Land Court to decide whether it is reasonable in all thecircumstances for Brisbane City Council to accept the claim.
Note: Section 20(2A) of the Acquisition of Land Act 1967provides that when assessing compensation, a contract, licence,agreement or other arrangement (relevant instrument) enteredinto in relation to the land after the notice of intention to resumehas been served must not be taken into consideration if therelevant instrument was entered into for the sole or dominantpurpose of enabling a person to obtain compensation for aninterest in land created under the relevant instrument.
