LOGO Introduction

The NES: Started in 1993 against the background of declining economic fortunes, policy

inconsistency, macroeconomic instability & economic environment.

The success of the 1st & 2nd Summit led to incorporation of NESG in 1996 as a vehicle for sustaining and anchoring the NES process on a continuous basis.

The NESG is a Private Sector Initiative, independent and non-partisan that helps to provide a forum for PPD. It works closely with government agencies, which enables it to make direct impact in policy articulation and development.

NESG Vision: To become Nigeria’s leading private sector think-tank committed to the development of a

modern globally competitive economy.

NESG Mission: Dedicated to achieving sustainable economic development, in the national interest, through

responsible private sector initiative.
