Anyone who had a heart..

• I knew I wanted to get involved on a more personal level than donating money.

• How?

Idea >Registered Non-Profit

Organization• In addition to donating much needed

money.. I created a non-profit organization called Hearts 4 Haiti.

Hearts 4 Haiti allows YOU to become involved in other ways than just donating money. YOU can become involved through collecting items for care packages, putting them together and uniting the community during the process

Unimaginable Devastation

• Here are some statistics:

• Over 200, 000 people have died.

• Over 300, 000 are injured.

• There is no running water, no hospitals, minimal food.

• There are too many bodies.. They are buried in mass graves

• Before the earthquake there were around 380, 000 orphans. This number is expected to increase by hundreds of thousands.

Why us? Why not others?

• When the Jews were targeted by Hitler, the man said to himself, “I do not need to help, someone else will.” When Hitler came for the homosexuals, the man said to himself, “I do not need to help, someone else will.” When Hitler came for the gypsies and the mentally challenged, the man said to himself, “I do not need to help, someone else will.” When Hitler came for the man, there was no one to help him.

• If we do not help the Haitians, how can we expect anyone to help us?

Oh.

• There are many great organizations that are saving lives every second every day in Haiti.

• There are ways to donate to them by simply texting “HAITI” to 90999, or donating online to mainstream organizations.

So why is Hearts 4 Haiti different?

• Money is always hard to part with no matter what the circumstances, I know. Therefore Hearts-4-Haiti focuses on being actively involved on a more personal level.

• Every week packages of food, water, clothing, necessities and monetary donations will be sent to the people of Haiti.
