Water hydrates the body! Aids in detoxification of the body! It helps regulate body temperature. Water creates balance! Drink water!! Did you know our bodies are made up of roughly about 70% of water! TIPS & TRICKS TO CHANGE YOUR DIET! Did you know Whole Foods and Fairway accept ETB Cards? Take a trip today! Having trouble curbing that sugar craving? Try making smoothies with your favorite fruit! Substitute white grains for whole grains! Use fresh and fruits and vegetables instead of canned! Still having those sugar cravings? Chew a piece of gum! Water! Drink it! Your body will thank you! Not an avid water drinker? Increase your intake by a half a cup a day! Not sure how much to drink? Multiply your weight by 0.66. That is how much water you need in ounces each day. Set goals! Download “Waterlogged”. Great app to keep track of your water intake! Like a dierent app? Use it! Love soda? Juice? IT IS OK. Gradually decrease your intake Fried food lover? Try baked and steamed instead. Your heart will thank you. Start a food diary! You will be amazed of what you eat on a daily basis in one week! Get your loved ones involved! It is ok to have a few slip-ups. Get up and start over! Reward yourself and have fun! Smile
