QUALIFICATION: Educational Qualification for Punjab State TeacherEligibility Test (PSTET) prescribed by the NCTE.Primary Stage for Classes I-V: Candidates appearing or passed in final year of 2- yearDiploma in Elementary Education or should possess atleast Senior Secondary or its equivalent with 50% marksor the candidates appearing or passed in final year of 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education or SeniorSecondary or its equivalent with at least 50% marks.

QUALIFICATION:Elementary Stage for Classes VI-VIII: Candidates appearing or passed in 1-year Bachelor inEducation or candidates who are in their final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education or Graduationwith at least 50% marks or passed. There are 2 papers for this exam. Candidates who areinterested in teaching Primary Stage Classes will takePaper 1, Elementary Class Aspirants will take Paper 2.
5. 5. TET EXAM DETAILS: Candidates are selected based on written examination(Paper I, II). For Paper I or II Candidates should payRs.600, for Both Paper I & II Candidates should payRs.1200. For SC / ST Category / Differently Abled, fees for BothPaper I & II is Rs.600 and fees for only Paper 1 or Paper2 is 300 INR. Hall tickets or Admit card for this exam can bedownloaded from PSTET official website before 15 daysfrom the date of exam.
