Chapter E-News
Official Communication of the Chapter is the Chapter E-News. The Chapter E-News is sent every
Tuesday morning. If you are not receiving the Chapter E-News, please email Soror Nikiya Boyd
Yahoo Group
The Chapter uses a yahoo group to send out messages that may be of interest to the entire chapter.
After joining the chapter, you should receive an invitation to join the Yahoo group. If you are not
receiving messages from [email protected] then email Soror Nikiya Boyd to be added to the
list.

PAO Facebook Fan Page
The fan page is a public social network page to keep the community and sorors abreast of what is
happening with our chapter. If you are a member of Facebook, be sure to Like Us! There is a link on the
Psi Alpha Omega website.
PAO Group Page on Facebook
The PAO Group Page is for Active Members of Psi Alpha Omega only! Please send a Request to Join by
searching for Psi Alpha Omega – Alpha Kappa Alpha in Facebook. One of the site administrators will
approve the request.

Member Intranet
To get to the Member Intranet, visit the Chapter website (www.psialphaomega.org) and scroll to the
bottom of the page and click on Member Login
Logging in to the Intranet
Login to the site using the email address on file with the chapter and the password - pao1908
Change Your Intranet Password
1. Once you are logged into the site,
click Change Password and
change the password to one that
you can remember.
Current password: pao1908
2. Click Save

Updating Your Soror Profile
1. Once you’re logged in, click View Profile to View/Edit/Update your profile information
2. Click Edit Profile to make changes to or update your profile

3. Review information that is part of your profile. Type in any missing/incorrect information
4. Scroll to the bottom of the screen and click Save

Viewing the Chapter Calendar
1. Click Chapter Calendar from the Menu and note the instructions at the top of the screen to see
Member Events on the calendar
2. Click the Login button at the top of the Calendar

3. On the Login page that appears, type in the Screen Name: psialpha and Password: paoesp09
and click Login
4. After you login, you will see all the chapter events that have been added to the calendar

Accessing Chapter Documents
Click on Chapter Information to find membership roster, request forms, and other information
Meeting Documents
Prior to the monthly chapter meetings, sorors are asked to login to the Intranet and print the agenda and
other necessary documents for the meeting.
Click on Meeting Documents from the menu to find documents for monthly chapter meetings.

Member Directory
Search the Member Directory to find any current member of Psi Alpha Omega
1. Click on Member Directory from the menu and Members will be shown in alphabetical order
2. Search for a member in the Search box or just click on a member name to view Member Details.
You can also send a message to the soror through the Intranet. The message is delivered to the
email address on file for the soror

Discussion Forum
1. Click Create Topic to post a topic for discussion in the Discussion Forum
2. To post a comment on a topic, click the Topic Heading (i.e. Leadership/Enrichment Topics)
a. Click New Comment to Add your response to the Topic Heading
b. You can reply to a previous comment that has been added by clicking the Reply link on
the comment
c. If you want to be notified when new comments are added to a particular topic, click
Subscribe to topic
If you want to know
when a new topic has
been added or when
someone has posted to
the forum, click
Subscribe to forum. You
will receive a daily
update to your email (no
emails are sent when
there is no activity)

Blog
1. Click Add Post to post something to the Blog.
Blog topics can be an announcement to the chapter, a question or just a random thought!
2. Click RSS feed to subscribe to the Blog and receive updates when new Posts are added. You can
view the feed in Internet Explorer from our Favorites tab.
