    Mango Pickle

I was a mango once green and ripe.

Delicious looking, full of life.Till I was cut by the Maker's Knife.

So,cut to pieces big and small.

Sore ridiculed by friends and all.

Yet I bore, still smarting from the fall

Then on the hot pan I stood.

My good looks turned aged and wrinkled.

All this supposedly for my own good.Off the fire, came the salt and spice.

    The oil,mustard and herbs likewise.

All this were mixed with my cries and sighs

    Put aside, that seemed forever.

Wondered whether I'll be used ever.

With my looks and youth gone forever. As the spice entered my every pore.

    Every resistance and pride tore.

Till it entered the utmost core.

All these seemed a terrible waste.

A wrong decision taken in haste.

Though all the while I was matured to taste.

    Matured till I lost identity.

And my former glory I could not see.

Which to Him of use I thought could be.

Thru these, two lessons He taught me.Though broken He allows me to be.

Still of use to the Makers I can be.

And the other,as people taste me.

None would say, what a mango is he.But to my MAKER,will go all glory

    Behavior of sheep

If sheep is left alone they will damage theland

Careful land and sheep management can

    give best yield.

Farmers call sheep as "golden hooves"

Their manure is the best and they destroyweeds by eating buds and tender tips.

    Sheep always leave behind goodness
