BUTTERFLY FESTIVAL

• Rotaractors of District 2420 organize a festival for the handicapped, named "Butterfly Festival". It is expected that more than 500 handicapped attend the festival. In this festival, Rotaractors organize workshops, plays and concerts in order to regale them.

This is a free of charge organization for participants. Also, there is no profit expectation from the organization.

COMMUNITY SERVICE

AIDS Awareness Project • In this project, Rotaractors meet

at several main locations of the city in order to raise the awareness of citizens about AIDS. In this year, 12 Rotaract Clubs will become organize in 4 differenet locations.

• They ask people to draw colored ribbons on canvas and give informing forms, red ribbons and condoms.

YOUR DONATIONS ARE COLLECTED IN THE BOX

COMMUNITY SERVICE

• Citizens put donations like their clothes, toys and stationery equipments in the box, which was placed in the one of the most popular shopping malls in Istanbul by Rotaract Clubs, as a donation. The donations are delivered to destitute people by the Rotaractors. The box are emptied twice a week by Rotaractors.
