Thanks to your prayers and God’s help, none of us got sick and we accomplished amazing things in our little village! Our Brian Whitlock baptized three Haitians, Lynn Rinderle taught a wonderful VBS, Danny Blankenship taught Youth Night, we bagged 1.5 tons of rice which we distributed while we were there. We met with our wonderful Haitian employees and got updated photos of all of our school children. Each child received a Servant’s Heart shirt and cinch bag. They were also measured for their new uniforms they will be receiving in the Fall. Thanks to everyone who has supported our mission via Child Sponsorship or donations. God is truly blessing our mission through you! PROJECT “SAFE HOUSE”: We are seriously in need of a building for storing our gear, camping on the roof, a meeting area, and two toilets and showers. Our crews have been camping on the church porch, tearing everything down each morning and stashing everything in the front of the church. (One lady fell off the porch in the middle of the night this year!) We want to be able to store our gear here from year to year, instead of hauling it back and forth. The cost of this project is $14,600. If you are able to make a donation toward this need, you can send us a check payable to “Servant’s Heart” or pay on our website via PayPal. You will receive a receipt for your taxes at the end of the year. “SERVANT HEART” BRACELETS FOR SALE: We are selling our Servant Heart adjustable bracelets for $10! Thanks to all of our runners/walkers who were able to get sponsors and help us purchase new uniforms for our school children! (Congratulations to Becky Gillespie and Maegan Rogers for completing the full marathon! You girls ROCK!) We raised $1,800 at the Benefit Concert for Rice at the Winton Road First Church of God. We purchased and bagged 1.5 tons of rice in Haiti! A CHILD NEEDS YOU: If you would like to help support a child’s education in Haiti, the cost is $20 per month.
