No one can change another person except our Lord, Jesus Christ.

Even the Lord must have that person’s cooperation.

Galatians 5 22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering (patience), gentleness, good-ness, faith (faithful), 23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

The Holy Spirit bears His fruit in us, as we submit our minds and hearts unto Him.

We must be willing

A happy home is filled with love.

Romans 5 5 … the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us. It’s in us; don’t fight it.

The Love of God, which is in us, is a positive action word.

This is the only love that many couples ever have.

Phileo is friendship, and it’s a stronger love than eros, but doesn’t always stand the test of time.

Phileo produces many good things.

But it’s not always forever love.

Eros is romantic love, and may produce some positive thoughts, words, and deeds.

But it doesn’t always.

Agape is godly love, and is the highest form of love with which we can ever interact.

Agape suffers long and is kind.

When we learn to love, we will be patient and kind with a loved one.

Love is not a feeling; it’s right thoughts, words, and deeds.

Patience and kindness are the first two characteristics of real love, and they are characteristics of

God our Father.
