Proverbs 14:15 The simple (seducible) believeth every word: but the prudent man looketh well to his going.

The simple are easily influenced, especially

by manipulative people.

Whoever he is hanging out with is who he emulates.

4

He is gullible; easily led astray.

The gullible need to be extra careful about the company they keep.

5

The prudent person will study and think for himself, listening only to the Lord.

6

16 A wise man feareth, and departeth from evil: but the fool rageth, and is confident.

It is Wisdom to fear the Lord as God Almighty.

Evil is whatever God says it is.

To fear the Lord is to do all things His Way.

Only a raging fool thinks he can defy God and get by.

7

17a He that is soon angry dealeth foolishly:

James 1 19 Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath: 20 For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God.

Proverbs 16 32 He that is slow to anger is better than the mighty; and he that ruleth his spirit than he that taketh a city.

A bad temper is nothing to be proud of.

We need self-control in the Power of God.

8

It makes him feel powerful to scare women.

He feeds on the fear that he can create in others.

But he’s a fool.Romans 12 19 … Vengeance is mine; I will repay,

saith the Lord.

God will wreak vengeance on such a man.

9

17b and a man of wicked devices (evil plans; schemes) is hated.

Instead of being hot-tempered, this man is coldly

calculating.

His schemes make money only for him.

He cheated millions of people out of their life’s savings.

He’s a hated man and a fool.

10

18 The simple inherit folly: but the prudent are crowned with knowledge.

Foolishness begets more foolishness.

The simple buy into schemes designed to sound like easy money, but in reality are a trap.

Wisdom begets ever more Wisdom.

11

19 The evil bow before the good; and the wicked at the gates of the righteous.

The FutureIn the short term it may seem that the evil and

wicked are doing much better than the righteous.

But judgment is coming!
