Proverbs 11:5-6 The righteousness of the perfect (entire; sincerely sound) shall direct his way: but the wicked shall fall by his own wickedness. The righteousness of the upright shall deliver them: but transgressors shall be taken in their own naughtiness.

God doesn’t have to literally punish the wicked; their own deeds punish them day by day.

life like a roller coaster.

7 When a wicked man dieth, his expectation shall perish: and the hope of unjust men perisheth. 8 The righteous is delivered out of trouble, and the wicked cometh in his stead.

No matter what this life holds, death is the great separator.

9 An hypocrite with his mouth destroyeth his neighbor: but through knowledge shall the just be delivered.

A truly godly person never wants to hurt another.

Love is kind and patient.Love builds up; does not tear down.

10 When it goeth well with the righteous, the city rejoiceth: and when the wicked perish, there is shouting. 11 By the blessing of the upright the city is exalted: but it is overthrown by the mouth of the wicked.

When the righteous are blessed and doing well, they share the wealth.

Everyone is happy.

But all the wicked spread is pain and suffering.

The people rejoice when they die.

12 He that is void of wisdom despiseth his neighbor: but a man of understanding holdeth his peace.

Only a fool tries to stir up trouble in his own neighborhood.

It is wisdom to get along with our neighbors as best we can.

13 A talebearer revealeth secrets: but he that is of a faithful spirit concealeth the matter.

We must keep confidences to help people.

One who can’t be trusted will not be confided in.

14 Where no counsel is, the people fall: but in the multitude of counselors there is safety.

This is true whether talking about an individual, a church, a state, or a nation.

Wise counselors are a necessity.Good leadership will listen to the ideas of others.
