Venue: All areas from Goalen Head to the southernmost point of Disaster Bay.

Cost: $35 per angler Club Members - $45 other. Fees are to be paid prior to briefing.

Juniors under 16 free. Eligible for senior prizes if adult fee paid, excludes Junior prizes.

Species: Dusky Flathead – Catch and Release, based on DPI brag mat photos.

Briefing: Friday 1February, Merimbula Big Game & Lakes Angling Clubrooms at

Spencer Park Merimbula, doors open at 6:30pm.

This fishing competition is open to all anglers holding a current NSW Fishing Licence or are exempt from

MERIMBULA LAKEVIEW HOTEL DUSKY RULES

Fishing Times Fishing may commence 6.00am Saturday 2nd and must cease by 2.00pm Sunday 3rd. Fish caught outside this time will NOT be eligible for prizes. Anglers may fish the entire time of the competition dates. Official Measuring Station The MBGLAC clubrooms are the official fish measurement station. All competitors must have entered their fish lengths and photographs by 3.00pm on Sunday to be eligible for prizes. Fish Measurement Prizes are based on the length of the flathead measured from the tip of the nose to the end of the tail and photographed on an official DPI brag mat (Available at the Club).

MERIMBULA LAKEVIEW HOTEL Meter+ Dusky $1000 Cash Prize This prize is for a Lure Only category for Dusky Flathead and must be caught on a lure without the use of burly and must be over 1 meter in length.

Prize Money Adjustments In the event that there are less than 30 anglers in the event, the prize money may be adjusted down on a pro-rata basis. If more than 80 senior anglers enter, the first prize will be DOUBLED. Attendance at the Tournament Briefing Attendance at the tournament briefing is required by at least one member per fishing team. It is the responsibility of this team member to ensure that the other team members are aware of the tournament rules. Single entries are accepted allowing angling from Kayaks. Adjustments to Length Via Digital Photos The acceptance of a digital photo for prizes will be at the discretion of the Committee. Deductions from the apparent length will be made in circumstances where the photo does not appear to represent the true length of the fish. The decision of the committee is final. Fishing Etiquette All teams must respect the space of other boats, and not come within 30 metres of each other whilst fishing. Boats in disregard of this requirement may face disqualification from the event. Presentation The presentation will held at the MBGLAC clubrooms at Spencer Park at 4.00pm on Sunday 3 February 2019 There will be a Lucky Angler Mystery Door Prize.

Anglers must be present to claim their prizes.
