Protein Smoothies PROTEIN SHAKES & SMOOTHIE RECIPES - Liquid Protein Meals = 350mls Please Note: All protein powders are of your choice of price, flavour and brand. These can all be made without adding protein powder to recipes. I do not recommend whey protein, as it is a byproduct (left over wastage) of cheese production…yuk! Not to mention all the additives and carcinogenic additives too! Artificial sweeteners, fillers, chemical numbers etc I recommend ORGANIC vegan protein powders, low fat and preferably hemp protein, rice, soy, sprouted or pea. I have yet to endorse a brand I like, as I haven’t found one yet to tick all the boxes…except mother natures finest plant greens! I only use protein powders on my prep, or occasionally when I need a meal on the go….best to have a shake, then go hungry or reach for the wrong meals. I have listed some recipes for you to try, but please pick you own favorite combos or fruits that are in season in your area. Recipes - Liquid Meals 350mls

MUSCLE BEACH 1/2 ripe or frozen banana 1 scoop protein powder of choice or none. 1 Tsp Almond butter 100mls Coconut Water 100mls Almond milk 1 cup Ice cubes Water as required   In a blender, combine the banana, peanut butter, mylk, smoothie mixer and ice, and puree until smooth. Makes about I serve (350 ml).   HULK 150mls Coconut Water 1 scoop hemp protein powder or your choice Handful Baby Spinach ¼ Lime ¼ Lemon ½ Orange In a blender, combine the banana, peanut butter, mylk, smoothie mixer and ice, and puree until smooth. Makes about I serve (350 ml). Chai Vanilla Crème 50mls Soy or almond milk 150mls water or coconut water 1 scoop vanilla protein powder 1 tsp. vanilla extract/essence 1 Date Cinnamon Nutmeg   In a blender, combine the mylk, date, vanilla, protein powder, spices, water and puree until smooth.    VEGAN FITNESS MODEL © 2014

Recipes - Liquid Meals 350mls PMS (Protein, Maca & Strawberry)   1/2-cup Frozen Strawberries 1 scoop Rice Protein powder or any of your choice. 1 Tbs. Coconut Sugar 100mls Coconut Almond Mylk (natures own) 100mls Coconut Water 1Tsp Maca 1 cup Ice Cubes   In a blender, combine the strawberries, sugar, maca, protein, ice and puree until smooth.     Valentine   1/2-cup Frozen Mixed Berries 1 Scoop Protein Powder 1 TSP Raw Cacao 1 Tbs. Coconut Sugar 150mls Coconut Water ½ Lemon 1 cup Ice Cubes   In a blender, combine the strawberries, raspberries, lime, lemon, sugar and puree until smooth…add water as required.     Monkey Juice   1/2 Frozen banana 200mls Coconut Water 1 Scoop Protein Powder 1 TSP Vanilla Essence 1 Date Cinnamon Sprinkle 1 cup Ice Cubes   In a blender, combine the dates, coconut water, essence, added water and puree until smooth

Spiced Up   1/4 Frozen Banana 1 Scoop Protein Powder 50mls Soy Mylk 100mls Coconut Water Fresh Ginger (any amount) 1 tsp Cinnamon Sprinkle of Nutmeg Vanilla Essence 1 tsp Maca 1 cup Ice Cubes Water  

In a blender, combine the above blend all until smooth. Add water to required for consistency.
