NRI QUOTA SEATS IN SRI PADMAVATHI MEDICAL COLLEGE FOR WOMEN (UNDER SVIMS) IN

THE STATE OF ANDHRA PRADESH FOR THE YEAR 2017-18

I. Regulations:

i) The following are the Regulations for admission of students into Management

Quota (Category -1 and Category -2) MBBS / BDS Courses in Private Un – Aided

Non – Minority, Minority Medical and Dental Colleges and NRI Quota Seats in Sri

Padmavathi Medical College for Women (Under SVIMS, Tirupati) in Andhra

Pradesh for the year 2017-18.

ii) The candidates shall appear and secure cut off score and above in the NEET UG -

2017 exam.

iii) The Rank and Score in NEET UG - 2017 shall be the basis for the selection into

MBBS and BDS Courses subject to these regulations.

iv) The List of Medical & Dental Colleges: The List of the Medical and Dental Colleges

as in the Regulations.

v) The admissions into the colleges are subject to the permission by the Government

of India / Medical Council of India / Dental Council of India and affiliation to the

Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences for the academic year 2017-18.

vi) In case any new Medical Colleges or Dental Colleges are affiliated to the University /

any college is permitted by the Govt. of India for the academic year 2017-18, the seats

in those colleges also will be filled up. No further Notification will be issued.

II. Minimum age:

i) Should have completed the age of 17 years by 31st December, 2017.

ii) A person born on 1st January of a year will complete one year on 31st December

of the same year.

iii) Age shall be calculated on the basis of date of birth as indicated in the Secondary

School Certificate Examination or equivalent examination.

iv) No request for relaxation of age of a candidate shall be entertained.

v) Candidates born on or after 02.01.2001 are not eligible for admission in to

MBBS/BDS courses.

III. Eligibility:

i) A) Candidates from all over the country are eligible for admission into UG

Medical and Dental Courses and as per Medical Council of India / Dental Council

of India / Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences.

B) The 15% NRI Quota Seats (23 Seats) available at Sri Padmavathi Medical

College for Women (under SVIMS), Tirupati shall be filled with the eligible

candidates who are Children/Wards of bonafide NRI residents of Andhra Pradesh

origin. In the event of Non-availability of sufficient candidates from AP origin,

they shall be filled with the eligible candidates from All India basis.

ii) Candidates should have qualified at NEET UG - 2017 and shall secure not less than

50% of marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany, Zoology) / Bio-

technology in the qualifying examination are eligible for admission into MBBS /

BDS courses and they fulfil other relevant conditions laid down in these

regulations as per Medical Council of India / Dental Council of India guidelines.

iii) The candidates should secure the following cut-off scores in NEET UG-2017

conducted by CBSE, New Delhi for the year 2017-18.

*Lower percentage / percentile of marks for SC/ST/BC/PH is only for eligibility purpose and

will not be applicable for reservation as there are no reservation quotas for these categories.

iv) Foreign Students / NRI / NRI sponsored candidates are eligible for admission into

MBBS and BDS Courses under Management Quota Category – C Seats.

v) *Candidates who have already applied for Convenor Quota Seats in response to

this University earlier notification are also eligible for the management quota

seats, but they have to apply afresh.

vi) Candidates possessing qualification of the University / Board of an institution

outside the AP State should submit Eligibility / Equivalence certificate from the

Board of Intermediate Education of Andhra Pradesh, to the effect that the

qualification possessed is equivalent to or higher than Intermediate examination

conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education of Andhra Pradesh at the time

of admission into the college.

vii) Candidates possessing qualification of the University / Board of an institution

outside INDIA should submit Eligibility / Equivalence certificate issued by

Association of Indian Universities, New Delhi and Eligibility / Equivalence

certificate issued from the Board of Intermediate Education of Andhra Pradesh to

the effect that the qualification possessed is equivalent to or higher than

Intermediate examination conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education of

Andhra Pradesh at the time of admission into the college.

viii) The number of seats available for the academic year 2017-18 in MBBS and BDS

Courses under Management Quota in Private Un – Aided Non – Minority,

Minority Medical and Dental colleges will be in accordance with the orders of the

MCI / DCI / GOI / Govt. of AP.

ix) The probable number of seats under management quota is given in the Annexure

appended herewith, for information.

Note: If a candidate is found to have submitted false information or concealed any

relevant information regarding this matter, such candidate is liable to be

disqualified for admission and in case already admitted, the admission will be

cancelled. Further disciplinary action against him/her will be taken by the

University.

IV. Counselling for allotment of Seats:

1. The seats shall be filled through counseling by the Committee for Admissions

as per merit from the candidates who have secured cut off scores and above

in NEET UG – 2017 and applied.

ii. The Date, Time and Venue of Counselling will be notified by the Committee

for Admissions.

iii. The candidates shall be present when called in the order of rank/merit.

iv. If a candidate fails to be present he will be declared absent and the next

candidate in the merit will be considered.

v. The candidates shall attend the counselling in person.

vi. The candidates shall attend with all Original Certificates, Tuition fee,

University Fee and Counselling Fee.

vii. Candidates who fail to produce or to submit original certificates or demand

draft for tuition fee /university fee will not be considered for counseling.

Such Candidates will be declared absent and the next candidate in the merit

will be considered.

viii. The Admissions through Counselling into Management Quota seats in Un-

aided Non-Minority and Minority Medical and Dental Colleges and NRI

Quota Seats in Sri Padmavathi Medical College for Women (under SVIMS),

Tirupati will be closed at the end of 2nd Counselling and the candidates who

were admitted will be considered as the bonafide candidates of the

respective colleges.

ix. If a selected candidate in 1st counselling wants to cancel his / her selection, he

/ she shall apply in writing to the Committee for Admissions within the

stipulated time specified in the allotment order.

V. Penal Action:

1. If a candidate seeks withdrawal from admission into MBBS / BDS Course

before 2nd

counselling of Management Quota Seats, the tuition fee will be

refunded after deducting 10% of the tuition fee and Rs. 10,000/- as

processing fee. ii. If a candidate after admission into a College withdraws from the course on

having obtained a seat under “A” Category (Convenor Quota)of State of

Andhra Pradesh, an amount of Rs. 10,000/- will be deducted as processing

fee.

iii. If a candidate after admission into a College seeks to withdraw from the

course, before commencement of 2nd

counseling, he / she should obtain ‘No

Objection Certificate’ from the Principal of the college concerned and shall

submit the same to the Committee for Admissions for cancellation of the

seat. Approval of the Committee for Admissions is mandatory to withdraw

from the course.

iv. If the candidate withdraws from the course after Closure of Admission of

Management Quota Seats to a College, he /she will forfeit the tuition fee

paid for that academic year.

v. The candidate selected in the second / final counselling, if any, will not be

permitted to cancel the selection. All the selected candidates shall submit an

undertaking that he / she will pay the tuition fee for the entire course, to

avoid wastage of seats, in case of not reporting to the college within the

stipulated period or withdraws from the college after admission.

vi. The Original Certificates submitted by the candidates who do not report to

the college or who withdraws from the Course, before 2nd

counselling, will

be returned.

VI. Joining Time: The selected candidates shall join the college within the specified date.

VII. Fee Structure:

i) University Fee: (See ADDENDUM at last page)

The selected candidates shall pay non – refundable University fee of Rs. 25,000/-

(Rupees Twenty Five thousand only) for MBBS Course and Rs.

16,000/- (Rupees Sixteen thousand only) for BDS Course in the form of crossed

Demand Draft drawn in favour of “The Registrar, Dr. NTR University of Health

Sciences” payable at Vijayawada.

Note: Candidates willing to opt both MBBS / BDS are informed to bring the University

Fee in the form of 2 Demand Drafts i.e. 1. For Rs. 16,000/- and 2. For Rs. 9,000/-

ii) Tuition Fee: (See ADDENDUM at last page)

As per G.O.Ms.No.30 & 31 HM & FW., (C1) Department Dt.17-04-2015, the

following is the tuition fee in respect of the Category-B & C seats in Pvt. Un-

aided Non-Minority and Minority Medical and Dental Colleges.

Note - 1: The Fee for Management Quota Category - C Seats (NRI Quota) for

GITAM Dental College is Rs.9,92,250/- per annum.

Note - 2: The candidates selected for MBBS Course in Sri Padmavathi Medical

College for Women (under SVIMS), Tirupati have to pay the tuition fee at

the college at the time of admission. Visit SVIMS Website:

http://svimstpt.ap.nic.in for details of tuition fee and other fee particulars.

Note –3: The candidates selected against Management Quota Category-C (NRI

Quota) Seats shall pay the fee fixed for management Quota Category-B

seat on the day of Counselling and the remaining balance amount of

Tuition Fee shall be paid to the Principal of the respective college on the

day of admission to the college.

Note – 4: Candidates willing to opt both MBBS / BDS are informed to bring the

Tuition Fee in the form of 2 Demand Drafts i.e. 1. For Rs. 4,96,125/- and

2. For Rs. 7,16,625/-. (See ADDENDUM at last page).

The Tuition Fee has to be paid in the form of crossed Demand Draft drawn

on any Nationalized Bank in favour of “The Secretary, APMDCMA”

payable at Vijayawada on the day of Counselling.

iii) Counselling Fee: The Candidates attending the Counselling shall pay non –

refundable Counselling Fee of Rs. 5,000/- (Rupees Five thousand only) in the

form of crossed Demand Draft drawn on any Nationalized Bank in favour of

“Registrar, Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences” payable at Vijayawada.

Iv). Registration Fee: The registration fee is Rs. 2,500/- (Bank transaction charges

extra).

Note: Candidates are informed that they have to pay the college fee and university

fee on the day of selection/counselling itself. If the candidate fails to pay the

fee after choosing the seat, the seat will be cancelled automatically without

any notice. The candidates will not be given any extension of time to pay the

fee.

The selected candidates shall submit bank guarantee for remaining period of study.

VIII. On-line Application Form:

The On-line Application Form for determining merit position in respective categories

for management quota seats using NEET UG – 2017 scores will be available on the

website http://ntruhs.ap.nic.in and http://pvtapmedadm.apsche.ac.in from 2.00 PM

on 09.07.2017 upto 5.00 PM on 19.07.2017.

The candidate should fill the online application form available in the Website with

the data required-for, through internet. The online application form can be filled

through any computer with internet connection (home/internet cafe/net center). The

candidate is advised to fill the online application form after going through the

Prospectus by keeping all the Certificates ready to enter his/her correct data.

IX. Procedure of filling online application and Procedure for online payment:

1. The candidates are advised to take a print out of the Prospectus / Instructions to fill the

Application from the website http://ntruhs.ap.nic.in and

http://pvtapmedadm.apsche.ac.in and www.apmedco.com before proceeding to fill

the application form.

2. Read the Notification, Prospectus / Regulations carefully.

3. Visit website http://pvtapmedadm.apsche.ac.in through Internet Explorer 11 version

only to fill the application form.

3. Keep all the following documents required:

i. NEET – UG 2017 Admit card issued by the CBSE.

ii. NEET – UG 2017 Score card issued by the CBSE.

iii. Date of Birth Certificate. (SSC or its equivalent certificate).

iv. Credit card / Debit card.

4 The fee can be paid through Debit card / Credit card or Net Banking.

5 The fee paid by the applicants is not refundable and not adjusted to a future date

under any circumstances.

6 The candidate should sign at the declaration area in the print out of the online

application form.

7. The candidate should paste a passport size photograph which is similar to that applied

for NEET-UG 2017 in the space provided in the print out of online application form

and submit at the time of original certificates verification and Counselling.

8. The candidate should submit the print-out of the filled - in online application form along

with one set of attested copies of required certificates at the Dr. NTR University of

Health Sciences, Vijayawada at the time of original certificates verification and

counselling.

9. The candidature of the applicant will not be considered for admission to MBBS and

BDS Courses unless the print-out application form along with the requisite enclosures is

submitted at the time of verification of original certificates and counselling.

X. PROCEDURE FOR SUBMISSION OF ONLINE APPLICATION FORM FOR DETERMINATION OF MERIT POSITION:

Open the website http://appvtmedadm.apsche.ac.in Home page displayed as follows.

1. Click on the Online Registration.

2. Registration Form appears in which Candidate has to give the details to register.

3. After entering the details click on validate button.

4. If all the details you entered is correct, You will receive the Registration number. Please

Note the Registration number for further correspondence and click OK

5. Then enter Testing Id and the Registration number for updating the details of the candidate and click on Validate Button.

6. The application form will be displayed as shown below

7. After filling the form, click on Save and Exit Button. This process can be repeated till all

the data you entered is correct. Then click on Save and Pay Button to proceed for payment.

Depending on your caste category, the Registration fee is varied. Once paid you will not get any refund.

Hence, you are requested to double check the eligibility conditions yourself and pay the fee.

8. Now you will be directed to the Payment Gateway click OK

9. Select you mode of payment and Make Payment

10. After payment you will receive a Successful Payment message 11.

12. Click OK Button. You will get your filled application form take printout of this form and affix a recent

passport size photo on the space provided and submit the form at the time of certificate verification.

Do's and Don'ts Do not use mobiles and tablets to Apply. Use only computers. Do not select or enter false information which can be liable for Criminal Action. Avoid using slow internet facility. Keep your mobile with you while applying and do not block SMS.

XI. Closure of Admission:

i) The Admissions through Counselling into Management Quota seats will be

closed at the end of 2nd Counselling.

ii) The Candidates are not permitted to withdraw from the Course on or after the

closure of admissions into Management Quota seats.

XII. Powers of the Admission Committee:

The Admission Committee shall have the power to revise its decision in any case

and to direct the Principal concerned to take further action either to select or to

cancel the selection, or to admit or cancel the admission before the closure of

admissions. Selections shall not be questioned after closure of admissions.

XIII. The Regulations of Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences are applicable with regard

to break of study, cancellation and re-admission.

The candidates shall attend the counselling with the following original certificates

(1) Original NEET – UG 2017 Admit card issued by the CBSE

(2) Original NEET – UG 2017 Score card issued by the CBSE

(3) SSC certificate or Equivalent Examination showing the Date of Birth of the Candidate.

(4) Intermediate of A.P. or its equivalent examination with 10+2 pattern.

(5) Declaration (Annexure-1) on White Paper signed by both the candidate and NRI

alongwith evidential documents such as Green Card/Citizenship Card/Bank

Statements/Pass-port of the respective Country/Electricity Bill etc., if candidates

opting for Management Quota Category C (NRI Quota) Seats in Un-aided Non-

Minority, Minority Medical and Dental Colleges and also 15% of NRI Quota seats in

Sri Padmavathi Medical College for Women (under SVIMS), Tirupati.(The

declaration on Rs.10/- stamp paper is to be submitted after closure of admissions at

respective college)

(6) Permanent Caste Certificate, if applicable.

(7) Minority Certificate issued by the concerned authority.

(8) Differently abled (PH) Certificate, if applicable.

(9) The candidates are advised to visit the website i.e., http://ntruhs.ap.nic.in for further

details such as cut off scores in the NEET, Submission of Marks List of Qualifying

Examination, Merit List and Counselling Schedule etc.,

Note 4: Candidates willing to opt both MBBS / BDS are informed to bring the Tuition

Fee in the form of 2 Demand Drafts i.e. 1. For Rs. 3,00,000/- and 2. For

Rs. 9,12,750/-. The candidates are informed to pay the remaining balance

amount of tuition fee for BDS Course Under B & C Category and for MBBS

course under C category at the respective college on the day of admission.
