    I feel to be fortunate to be a s s o c i a t e d w i t h SANTINIKETAN INSTITUTE O F P O L Y T E C H N I C , a n Educat iona l Inst i tute of Engineering & Technology. It is approved by A.I.C.T.E and is

affiliated to West Bengal State Council of Technical & Vocational Education & Skill Development. The Institute was established in 2010 by SWADHIN, a registered charitable t rust , in a ver y ca lm and peacefu l environment, in close proximity of Visva-Bharati University, Santiniketan. Being a University Town, Bolpur has become an educational hub of high standard where students learn with all seriousness. Bolpur is also a world famous tourist spot which is visited by people from all over the world to witness the works done by the creator of h i g h e s t h u m a n c u l t u r e , G u r u d e v Rabindranath Tagore.

69 years after Independence, India is now in the field of rapid development. It is now in a leading position in the world. India, which has one of the ancient cultures in the world, is now taking stride in Technological Developments. It is in need of skilled Technical Manpower. While Engineering

Degree Colleges are coming up very fast there is lag in the development of Diploma Institutions. The country is, therefore, facing a shortage in Diploma Engineers. The all India Council for Technical Education is seized of th is matter and is encouraging the development of more Polytechnics.

SWADHIN charitable trust has taken a r ight step for the establ ishment of Santiniketan Institute of Polytechnic in Bolpur. In this Institute attention is given for the all round development of students. While technical Education and skills are given prior attention, due importance is given for raising the human values in a student. There is good teacher-student relation and the teachers take all the care to develop the students into worthy citizens of India. The efforts taken by the Management & the Faculty Members, have already started to bear fruits. In the Semester Examinations of West Bengal State Council of Technical & Vocational Education & Skill Development, more than 99% of our students have secured above 70% marks with a large number of students securing 80% and above marks. These excellent result will permit our students to go for higher studies & get themselves placed in high positions in their future career.

appreciate the enthusiasm, encouragement, responsibility of the key personnel of the Institute as well as the hands behind it from the day of its establishment. This is the only reason of its Success. Our staffs, students, guardians, well wishers take valuable part for its development by enhancing their own field of work.My co workers told me repeatedly to write something in the Prospectus 2016. I am thinking and thinking for two weeks, realized, that, is there anything remain, to proved to everybody, why Santiniketan Institute of Polytechnic became the first priority to everyone in just 6 years of its establishment? Pleasant Academic & A d m i n i s t r a t i v e A c t i v i t i e s , W e l l Management, Best Equipped Laboratories,

Barrier Free Environment, Wide Campus and obviously the biggest JOB FAIR among West Bengal organized by us in every year. We provide every facility to make a students carrier bright, to make they proportionate to the Industry, in the field of their work. In spite of that, we are always devoted to deliver a good human being to the nation as well as the Society. These were the only reasons why students from the other States like Bihar, Jharkhand, Tr ipura , Assam, and others chose Santiniketan Institute of Polytechnic for their higher studies, in the end of the day, I th ink, i t proved our abi l i ty, which established our unique identity, which showed the goal of our Success. I really feel so proud to be a small part of it. And obviously, Still we have but Long Miles to go.

Always trying to overcome the failures, dont come the successor, just hate the failures.

  • Vice Principals Message

Welcome to Santiniketan Institute of Polytechnic (SIP), I appeal to the parents to support their wards' education by encouraging them, and keeping them focused on performing to their very best ability. Please regularly be in contact with faculty about your

wards' progress in an effort to affirm success or working together in setting new goals for

achievement. Students can achieve success when responsibility is accepted with sincerity,

integrity and purpose. If we all work together and communicate effectively, our individual

  • Message from The Director, Corporate Relations

It is a fast-changing world today. Technology innovations are disrupting every aspect of our lives like never before and India is emerging as a leader in such innovations. With initiatives like Make in India our country has already becomean ideal destination for both foreign and domestic investments. So the time is apt for our students to make the best use of these opportunities and embark on a great career. And to reach there what is of paramount importance is the right approach and right guidance. With a disciplined process, high class faculty, and brilliant studentsthere is

no reason why this goal cannot be accomplished.

As Director, Corporate Relations, I will be relentlessly focused to help this instituteget the best of such opportunities and help our students achieve this goal. I have no doubt that Santiniketan Institute of Polytechnic (SIP) is one of the premiere institutes of West Bengal and our students are fully capable of succeeding at a global level. I have been associated with the Placement industry for more than a decade now. Prior to that I served in the corporate sector for more than thirty years. It has been an honor to closely work with todays generation of students, understand their needs, their challenges, mentor them and work towards placing them in organizations where their mettle could be proved and their careers could be made. The story does not end with just by landing into a job. Every student has to be extremely focused and properly oriented to learn and perform and be able to make a mark. It is anunending fight to move forward and my role will be to equip and enable this bright student pool for the journey ahead.

As Swami Vivekananda had said, Arise, Awake. And stop not till the goal is reached- Lets make this our motto and seek satisfaction only in our success. We will have to pledge to stay focused and make great use of every opportunity that comes our way.All the very best.

  • Sanniketan Instute of Polytechnic, founded in 2010, is

located at rural backdrop far from the maddening crowd.

Sll all the facilies of Bolpur and Sanniketan are within

easy and comfortable reach. The impact of Tagores

University is well felt here. Sanniketan being very close

to Sanniketan Instute of Polytechnic the cultural

tradions of Visva-Bhara cast a Magic spell all around.

The students and teachers are deeply imbued with

    Rabindranath Tagores mission and educaonal

    concepts.

The seng is not only serene and solemn, but also

inmately aached to nature, which is vibrant with the

notes of birds, whispering wind, memerizing fragrance of

flowers and of course, the posive nod of tree tops.

Any casual visitor to the campus of SIP may also be

accorded with a warm welcome from patrons, pupils and

personnel. Out and out it is humane.

SIP was dreamt, then materialized and is now being run

by SWADHIN a Society for Welfare and Development of

Human iniaves. However, SWADHIN the very identy

spells magic, for it is an acronym.

Situated at Tatarpur and only 3.5 Km from Bolpur

/Sanniketan Railway Staon, SIP, an endeavour of

SWADHIN is now commied to produce competent

professionals in respect of the changing needs of the life

and society. The campus is linked with communicaons

spreading over different points of transit. Again the

campus is just one Km away from Bolpur Sub-Divisional

    Hospital at Sian.

The instute is enrely free from all sorts of polluon and

    disturbances.

The total area of the campus spreads over a land area of

15 acres. Buildings of the Instute cover nearly 40% of the

area. It deserves special menon that SWADHIN also runs

other instuons Sanniketan D.ED College, Sanniketan

College of Educaon, Sanniketan B.Ed. College and

    Sanniketan Private ITI.
