    Praise the God for His mercy and power given to committees so that we can make

    and finish the OGIP 2016 proposal, entitled “Energy Evolution”.  This huge annual

    International event is organized by Petroleum Engineering Student Council, Petroleum

    Engineering Department, University of Pembangunan Nasional “Veteran” Yogyakarta.

    NAME OF EVENT

    OGIP 2016“ Energy Evolution ”  

    BACKGROUND

    OGIP stands for Oil and Gas Intelectual Parade. It is a huge annual international

    event from Petroleum Engineering Department, Universitas Pembagunan Nasional

    “Veteran” Yogyakarta and is oriented to several majors such as petroleum, geology,

    geophysics, environmental, chemical engineering and related to oil & gas and

    geothermal expertises and professionals. SPE-SC, IATMI-SM and API-SM UPN

    “Veteran” Yogyakarta take a contribution also in these series of events. We

    continuously proud to present 6th

     OGIP since the first time OGIP was held in 2011.

    This year, OGIP 2016 theme is “Energy Evolution”. See the development of a

    more modern era and ever increasing energy needs we face a situation where the need to

    continue to survive. It was encouraging to inevitably existing energy should continue to

    grow both in terms of its source or technology. So in other words, we must evolve to

    survive where the evolution is the evolution of energy.

    There is no more fear and doubt by raising this “Energy Evolution” theme,

    OGIP 2016 is able to be the box where students can show off their knowledge,

    creativity, innovation, skill and community service as Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi as

    represented in Plenary Discussion, Intellectual Competition and Social & Cultural Visit.

    So here, we have the expectation that in this precious event, we can share our

    knowledge towards each other so we can prepare new human resources to be ready for

    the new era of energy evolution.By meeting students and company expertises in the same event, OGIP 2016, we

    have the confidence that this is the place where students and professionals can discuss

    and talk about the coming challenges in the oil and gas industry and it is also to

    synchronize their vision from an educational perspective and the real circumstances,

    where it happens when the company is becoming our second home in the future.

    PURPOSE

    1.  To develop human resources, especially young generation to have a good capability

    and to be a good human resources for the prosperity of their country in the oil and

    gas industry.

    2.  As a forum for students, professional, and society to gather and meet so that there

    will be a good relationship among them that may form a mutualism symbiosis.

    3.  To find solutions that become hot issues in oil, gas, geothermal industry in

    Indonesia through national seminary and panel discussion.

    4.  As a forum for professional to meet and playing golf at Golf Meeting for

    Professional.

    5.  To increase knowledge for all participants, especially in oil and gas industry.

    IV. BASE OF EVENT

    1.  Almamater Knowledge.

    2. 

    Tri Dharma University, that includes learning and teaching, research and charity for

    society that become the base for students to understand, develop, and apply the

    knowledge to seek any problem deeper in society and find the solutions.

    Plenary Discussion  will be inviting thekey speakers of oil and gas industry in

    Indonesia to discuss about the global energy

    challenge and unconventional technology,

    especially for shale gas and shale oil that give

    a big influences toward the world energy.

     Photo Session of The Participants, Panelists,

     Moderator, Guests and Committees 

    In this event, we will have a dinner

    together after the registration of participants.

    After that, we will gather together in the

    meeting room. There are series of events,

    opening speech from Head of OGIP 2016, IC

    Coordinator, and introduction from

    committees and LO. Then, the important

    event is drawwing and reading the rules of

    the competition.

    The Participants Were Paying Attention in

    Technical Meeting  

    Golf meeting  is one of our greatest

    moment where we can meet oil and gas

     professionals and share experiences. It is also

    one of our way to make a fund-raising

    through everyone who is involved. It will

    take place wether in Jakarta or Yogyakarta.

    Plan of Development Competition is

    oriented for students who are studying in the

    faculty of mineral technology. This

    competition will challenge the application of

    theory that the students have learn from many

    aspects such as geology, reservoir, drilling,

    and production. This prior knowledge will be

    correlated with non-technical issue which isthe economical point of view. The integration

    of the subjects becomes the main key in

     processing available data as a plan to develop

    a field. 

    The Participants of POD Competition OGIP

    2015 

    Paper Competition  is a competition

    for students, where they can apply their

    theory with doing some research and

    innovation which will benefit the energy

    development and energy sustainability. In

    2016, OGIP we will held based on

    educational degree for bachelor degree

    students.

    Smart Competition is a competition for

    students to do battle of brain in mastering the

    subjects and compete positively related to

     petroleum and geothermal industry such as

    technical and non-technical matter. The

    following phases in smart competition are

    elimination phase, quarter final, semi final

    Poster Competition  is a competitionaimed for Senior High School & First-year

    university students in Yogyakarta with the

    following theme: “Oil & Gas Conservation

    for Brighter Future”. This competition

    requires creativity, innovation, and solution

    from high school students to make a short,

     but to-the-point, energy conservation

    message that presented by the poster.

     Floor

    of Petroleum Engineering Building of UPN

    “Veteran” Yogyakarta

    Oil rig competition  will challenge

    the participants to build the best oil rig

    model based on the participants‟ creativity.

    Here, participants are free to put their ideas,

    innovation, etc. the oil rig model doesn’t

    need to follow the existing oil rig exactly .

    However, the feasibility to build that oil

    rig model and the existence of detailed part

    of oil rig model are also included in

    assessment.

    Oil Rig Design Judging

    Energy Photography  is a new

    competition in OGIP 2016.With the theme

    “Leap Into Perfection”, we hope that from a

     picture it will be able to invite us to widen

    our energy potential. The booth will be

    displayed in our exhibition for the top 25

    selected photos only.

    SPONSORSHIP

    A.  GENERAL INFORMATION OF CONTRACT

    1.  The deal of contract will be done by signing the letter of sponsorship contract

     provided by committees.

    2.  Down payment of sponsorship must be paid about 60% and paid maximum 40

    days after the contract signed.

    3.  The full payment must be done maximum 60 days after the first payment.

    4.  The letter of sponsorship contract must be officially stamped by committees

    and sponsor.

    5.  Committees open to any opportunities of sponsorship forms which committees

    do not listed.

    6. 

    The contract can be done between the committees who bring and offer the

     proposal and sponsor.

    7.  The list of amount from sponsorship includes the making of facilities and

     permission offered by committees.

    8.  All provision that are not ruled and made in sponsorship offering will be

    decided by both of parties (committees and sponsor).

    9. 

    Sponsorship Cancellation; From sponsor, sponsor who has fully paid will be

    returned 40% and for sponsor who has paid the down payment, the money

     become the right of committees and will not be returned.
