Re: Proposal to produce a step by step instructions on how to access the DVD listings on the online LRC.

Thank you for taking the time to read over and consider my proposal. I'm requesting permission to spend 10 hours researching and producing a slides show presentation. The presentation will consists of a minimum of 10 slides on step by step instructions on how to access the DVD listings on the online LRC. I will gather all research and produce a presentation that students will gain knowledge to download and view DVD listings.

I. Bored at home

Some students just have to much time on their hands, or just don't have anything to do. Or in other cases students don't have any idea about the online dvd listings. Students may not have a ride to rent a movie, or maybe they just don't have money either.

Students don't have much to do at the dorms but maybe, surf the web or watch TV. For sure students don't want to walk in the heat to the library. It's okay, because the library has an online web site, where students can access the DVD listings right from their computer.

Even if a student doesn't live in the dorms, it doesn't mean they can't access the DVD listings. As long as the student is paying to attend TSTC and has online access then they can view the information.

II. The Answer

I will be putting together a slide show of step by step instructions on how to access the DVD listings from the online Learning Resource Center. The benefits of this presentation will teach students how to access the listings with no problems at all. Students won't be bored at home anymore, and will not be charged for accessing the listings.

Some students may already know how to check the DVD listings, but some might not even know of its existence. I plan to inform the students at TSTC how to access the web site to the LRC, and what links to click on to get to the DVD listings. When students check out the site, they won't be disappointed, or discouraged to browse through it,

because they will have viewed my slide show presentation.

III. Researching

I have done enough research on the online DVD listings to create a quick questionnaire. The questionnaire will consists of five simple questions. I have visited the web site and have acknowledged how to download and view the DVD listings with no problems.

The questionnaire information and answers will help me put the presentation together. I will also be researching the web site more, in hope to find out more information. Once I am done researching, I will put all my results and notes together to help me put a slide show together.

The presentation will consist of ten or more slides that will be created in power point. The presentation will get students to use the online LRC more often. I think this will especially benefit the students who live at the dorms at TSTC.

The slides show will open student eyes. Some students just have to much time on their hands, or just can't afford to go out and rent DVD's. My presentation will surely get students attention. After viewing my slide show, students will know exactly how to download and view this information from the online LRC. Thank you for taking time to read over my proposal.
