This is an opportunity to benefit from low property prices in the world’s largest economy which will provide 12% net returns per annum. This is achieved through the acquisition of distressed multi-dwelling and single family homes in Chicago. These are comprehensively refurbished and either let or sold for profit. Funds are being raised via a limited number of bonds which enables you to benefit from an exceptional return without the hassles of direct ownership. Your investment is secured against the properties within the portfolio and funds are kept in a solicitor’s escrow account until the bond is issued. Investors have a first ranking charge at Companies House. The investment is made in GBP, so there are no currency fluctuations to concern you. The annual returns are 12%, paid bi-annually in arrears for a three year term with a minimum investment of £10,000. Alternatively there is a compound option which will return 40.49%. This is available to cash investors and is approved for selected Regulated Pension Vehicles.

The investment strategy for the company is focused on multi-unit dwellings which consist of between two – four apartments. All properties are purchased from U.S. Banks or via foreclosure sales and a refurbished to a high standard, which includes new kitchens, bathrooms, windows and wooden floors.

The company can acquire a two unit property for as little as $30,000 and refurbish it for approximately $50,000. The yields achieved deliver the interest payment to the bond investors, while allowing the company to purchase more properties.

Throughout the fixed three year term, each property is professionally managed to maximise the returns and protect the investment. This includes a mixed strategy of buy & hold and buy & sell at the most appropriate times.

The table below shows the Housing & Urban Development’s agreed rent payable in Chicago for 2015.
