HIRSCH Porozell has been offering tailor-made product solutions made of EPS (expandable polystyrene, airpop) for the electrical, food, pharmaceutical and packaging industries since 1972. Today, the HIRSCH Servo Group has approximately 1,300 employees at several European production sites. With our entry into the molded pulp production, we have expanded our product portfolio to include a further sustainable material and can thus also pack products in recycled cardboard boxes as an alternative to traditional EPS packaging.

Packaging made of waste paper is generally conside-red to be very environmentally friendly. However, the entire life cycle of recovered paper is not always the more sustainable answer. Due to its properties, EPS is indispensable in many areas and - since it is also 100% recyclable - also sustainable. Whether it is molded pulp or EPS, choosing the optimal packaging material for your product is an integral part of our product de-velopment. We work together with you to manufacture protective packaging that meets your product needs.

More and more sensitive goods are transported, reloa-ded and temporarily stored over ever longer distances. Protective transport packaging is therefore a simple necessity in order to avoid transport damage and the as-sociated economic and ecological loss. Packaging plays an important role when it comes to using raw materials sparingly and sustainably. We have aligned all processes

- from purchasing raw materials and product design to the production process - with the concept of recycling management. For example, we procure the recover-ed paper for the production of our molded pulp parts exclusively from certified or controlled suppliers.
