0lessingD whereas the there are those who o((ose it and regard the 5ee(ing

of these names to 0e shir5 8associating (artners with Allah9. %his 0elief and

false theory of theirs is a0solutely incorrect. n realityD it is totally

(ermissi0le for us to refer to oursel+es as the ser+ants of Rasoolullah .

Almighty Allah says in the "oly ?uraan

E>ou *ayD 6 my ser+ants who ha+e harmed their own souls. o not 0e

disillusioned from the mercy of Allah.G H*urah :umar Ierse.$3J

6ne of the (ersons who is e+en res(ected 0y the 7aha0isD "aMi mdaadullah

uhaaMir=e=a55i states as follows concerning the a0o+e mentioned +erse

of the "oly ?uraan E#ecause the "oly 'ro(het is so near to Almighty

AllahD it is (ermissi0le to refer to the ser+ant of Allah as the ser+ant of the

Rasool . ;ust as Almighty Allah states E>ou *ayD 6 my ser+ants whocommitted inMustice unto their souls. %he one 0eing referred to 8in this

+erse9 is none other than the "oly 'ro(het . Hmdaadul ushtaa! 'g /3J

Allah to refer to those of us who ha+e committed inMustice unto our souls as

t is our A!ida that the "oly 'ro(het is a0le to hear us e+en from great

distances. %he distinguished *aha0a of the "oly 'ro(het used to call out

to the 'ro(het from great distances e+en at the time of 0attles which

too5 (lace distances away. %his was also the manner of "a

uhammadD he recei+ed it from his grandfather and "e recei+ed it from the

Com(iler of alail=al=Khayraat *hay5h *ayed *hareef uhammad 0in

*ulaiman Al ;u

where+er or whoe+er the (erson is who recites urood u(on himD the +oice

of that (erson reaches him. %his means whether a (erson is far or nearD in

adinah unawwara or anywhere else in the worldD his +oice reaches the'ro(het .

%hose who say that the 'ro(het is not a0le to hear our urood *hareefD

(resent the "adith wherein it is mentioned that the Angels carry the

urood into the Court of the "oly 'ro(het . After (resenting this "adithD

they say that this is (roof that the 'ro(het does not hear it (ersonally.

%he said "adith is 0eing !uoted 0elow t is mentioned in the "adith *hareef

as follows

E7hen a (erson recites urood *hareef then an Angel ascends with it and

(resents it 0efore Almighty Allah. Allah Almighty saysD L%a5e it to the "oly

ra+e of my #elo+ed ser+ant uhammad so that he may ma5e ua=e=

#a5hshish for the (erson who sent the urood and he may gain coolness in

his eyes.G

&rom the a0o+e mentioned "adith it is cleaer that the urood is first

(resented in the i+ine Court of Almighty Allah and thereafter with the

command of Almighty AllahD it is (resented in the court of the "oly 'ro(het

. %he logic of the deo0andis is that if the urood is heard 0y the 'ro(het

then what need is there for the Angels to (resent it. t should 0e noted

that this argument is not only contradicting the (ower of hearing of the

"oly 'ro(het 0ut it is also contradicting the (ower of hearing of

Almighty Allah since the urood is first (resented in the Court of Almighty

Allah.

According to their e+idence 8Allah &or0id9 7ill this then not mean thatAlmighty also cannot hear from distances as wellD if not what need was there

for it to 0e (resented 0y the AngelF

Note how corru(t 0eliefs these (eo(le hold that it has e+en contradicted and

o((osed one of the attri0utes of Almighty Allah. ay Almighty Allah (rotect
