GENERAL NOTES

1. All tests and inspections are to be made in accordance with NK rule.

2. Test pieces are to be taken separately from the propeller.

3. Mechanical properties of material are as follow,

Ultimate tensile strength 590 N/mm2 Elongation 16 % 0.2% proof stress 245 N/mm2

4. Finished tolerances are to be made in accordance with ISO class 1. 5. Allowable unbalanced weight shall not exceed 3.0 kg at the tips of

the blades.

6. Leading and trailing edge of the blades are to be finished accurately by

using the gauge plates.

7. Cone parts of the propeller boss are to be finished accurately by using

taper gauge.

8 .. Number of the blade is to be stamped the letters of " A,S,C, ....... "

on the periphery of the boss fore side of each blade.

And the following information is to be clearly stamped in a Diameter,

Pitch and Weight, etc.

9. Mark"@" is to be taken one set of test pieces for each propeller.
