Lloyds TSB/Bank of Scotland wanted their own mini version of a gymnast’s wand to give away on the Torch Relay route, to

celebrate their sponsorship of the London Olympics 2012.

Our parent company, Preseli Merchandising, is based in Hong Kong and is ideally located on the doorstep of our Chinese suppliers in the Guangdong Province.

Preseli is a Trade Only supplier to the business gift industry and has been importing and stocking promotional products for over two decades.

Preseli Merchandising helps us and our customers to source products and to manage projects.

Preseli will only sell to companies that are re-sellers. We are strong believers in the supplier-distributor relationship. For that reason, we actively pursue and develop strong partnerships with distributor companies that share the same philosophy.

industry as a reliable, honest & ethical supplier.’

Our parent company, Preseli Merchandising, inspects all prospective factories before we use them. They also audit factories to ensure that they comply with local employment regulations.

Some of our factories have additional ethical credentials, such as Sedex Members Ethical Trade Audit (SMETA) accreditation. That means that they have been independently audited by companies such as Intertek.

We also have paperwork relating to tests carried out on materials and components used by our factories in the manufacture of our products. Some of our factories have ISO 9001 accreditation.

Goods are consolidated in the Hong Kong office where they are QC checked and then sent to the UK via air or sea freight. Preseli Merchandising arrange all of the shipping documents and arrange freight with the shipping company.

Preseli Merchandising has an experienced team of merchandisers, quality controllers and administrators that not only source new suppliers and products but also carry out factory audits and QC checks at the factory while goods are in production.

Andy Yung recently joined our Hong Kong office and is involved in quality control and logistics.

Nicola recently joined our UK team and is involved in supporting customers with bespoke quotes. Nicola also processes product sample requests.

Preseli offers free of charge samples from across our whole range. We don’t charge for the products or for the delivery.

Samples are generally dispatched on the day they are requested, using Royal Mail. Heavy items, such as umbrellas, are still sent free-of-charge via our courier, Interlink. If you require the samples especially urgently, we will can send them using RMSD at cost, guaranteeing delivery by 12pm the next day.

If your client wants a pre-production sample, we can normally arrange this free-of-charge. Set-up charges apply, but those will not be charged again for the bulk order.

We can also supply self-promo samples to you to hopefully win business for us both. We heavily discount self-promo orders and will often supply them free-of-charge.

We offer a range of Free-of-Charge artwork services:

Concept sheets produced on behalf of distributors.

We can help you better serve your clients by offering our design service for bespoke ties and scarves.

We can also advise on how your clients’ artwork can best be reproduced on our wide range of products.

When you order we send you an artwork proof. Once approved, the Order Processing team enter it into PromoServe.

An Order Acknowledgement will be emailed to you, confirming details and delivery date.

Orders are put on a tracker so we can closely monitor progress. Our parent company, Preseli Merchandising, has a vital role in this process, liaising with factories.

Orders are then delivered to our Hong Kong office where they are QC checked and consolidated into one of our frequent UPS consignments to the UK.

At our UK office, consignments are broken down and individual orders checked and then dispatched on Interlink. Interlink consignments can be tracked online, even confirming the delivery time to within 1 hour.

In January 2015 Michael Wilson joined Preseli as Marketing Manager with the specific aims of promoting Preseli and their products and services to existing and new distributor customers.
