OVERVIEW This project is to create opportunities for international volunteers to exchange culture, language and knowledge with Vietnamese students from 12 to 18 from Hoa Sen high school in Ho Chi Minh city. It provides a strong link of mutual learning and understanding environment where Vietnamese young generation can bring the best image of Vietnam to foreigners’ eyes.

OBJECTIVES • Introducing the beauty of Vietnam to friends from all over the world • Creating academic and cultural exchange among Vietnamese students and people from different countries • Bringing a broader life overview and positive mindset to Vietnamese students • Improving students’ English in Vietnam

Job Description

1. Building content and

organizing activities for school English clubs such as group talks, singing and dancing, traditional games, cultural exchange days, playing English dramas

2. Working as teaching assistant

in English communicative classes and supporting English teachers in designing class activities for the lessons. International volunteers have the space to introduce about their countries to Vietnamese students and teachers

3. Working for the school Life-

skill Department in designing school extra-curricular activities and hosting school weekly or regular events such as “Who is the millionaire?”, 100-arena

4. Joining extra-curricular

activities with school according to Life-skill Department’s plans: travelling, sports, singing and dancing; meeting with English clubs in Ho Chi Minh city.

5. Joining all other activities

organized by the school

6. Willing to coordinating with

other projects from AIESEC FTU HCM to organize events and complete the Net Promoter Score surveys.
