There is no such thing as a “Guide for parents and educators (or researchers, or….)”

One key for us: Finding help – we know others have more experience writing to this audience

ONE EXAMPLE

Assessment is confusing: We created an alternate assessment report series Two reports clarify issues and distinctions between AA-

AAS and AA-MAS: The hook here is the effect on learning opportunities

Another document causes the reader to rethink assumptions about alternate achievement standards

Organization: Chapters called Big Ideas Misperception, Response, Recommendation tables
