About the show

The show tells the story of Prometheus, the man who stole the fire from gods and inspired people to be more creative and absorbed with the world. The artists tell the story without using any words, instead they communicate with audience through movement, music and acting.

The performance spans over an hour, during that time the group of dancers and acrobats present the story of Prometheus and all of mankind in a  very unique way. No dialog, only light, sound and body. The movement and music merge together in an incredibly perfect way. The artists use movement, dance, acrobatics and circus arts in order to communicate with audience without losing the essence of the story. The skills and flexibility of performers, enhanced by the music are hypnotizing.

Utilizing a metaphor and fantasy one should watch the spectacle as a dramatic play in which the actors’ ability to communicate verbally was taken away, instead they were given wings that enable them to fly. This spectacular show and dramatic theater complement one another in a very exceptional way. It is universal, timeless and multicultural.

Prometheus is not only a spectacular show but also a  well-presented story, which demonstrates the capabilities of human bodies when controlled by a strong mind and will. Lights, the set and especially the music create a  background for the story. One can hear bold mix of jazz, hip-hop, Balkan music and classical music by Vivaldi. This show is a tribute to Prometheus, the self made creator and guardian of the people and proves that a human can become equal to its godly creators. The project is innovative, breathtaking and turned out to be a great success in Poland.

LightingList of equipment:

The types of equipment can be replaced following detailed consultation. The amount of equipment depends on the size of the venue. A space for console is required in the audience in front of the stage. We are able to provide our own console as well as Gobo for profiles and filters if needed. Lights need to be equipped with filter frames and Fresnel lens in cropping flip.

1. Minimum dimensions of the stage:

• width of the stage 12 m• depth of the stage 12 m• height of the stage 10 m

2. Mechanics of the stage:

• pulley to hang 2 backcloth + draperis, lines to lift actors, hanging of stage ligting

3. Draperies of the stage:

• black or darknes

4. Stage floor:

• black or dark ballet floor, rubber floor

5. Supplements:

• in case of walking across the midle of the audience it should be installed stairs on the proscenium

• possibility to communication behind the rear backcloth• wardrobes for 18 actors• acces to sanitary appliance near the stage

• needful presence of stage drivers, electrician and acoustic designer in time of mounting, dismantling, rehearsals and shows
