PROJECT GOAL :-1)TO PROMOTE POSITIVE INTERACTION AMONG MALES AND THEIR YOUNG CHILDREN WITH SPECIAL EMPHASIS ON HELPING YOUNG MALES (18 – 35 YRS.) FROM LOWER SOCIO - ECONOMIC BACKGROUNDS BUILD RELATIONSHIPS WITH THEIR CHILDREN AND BECOME MORE ABLE TO PROVIDE SUPPORT.

the parents and enable them to work as a team in the best interest of the child(ren).

SCOPETo undertake a Knowledge, Attitude, Behaviour and Practices (KABP) Survey of young men 18-35 years in select communities to ascertain the underlying cause(s) for the apparent lack of involvement of fathers in the lives of their young children.
PURPOSE1. To influence the design of a
Behavioural Change Intervention Communication Campaign to address this issue.
2. To influence the development and implementation of a Parent Education Training Programme specifically designed to target young males and fathers in 10 identified communities.
