2 Applications for Funds

Goal Provide funding and supports to establish new PS programming for Transition Youth. PS Team Members Name and Organization (ISD or School District, MRS District Office, Community Mental Provider, and Employer) Primary Contact Person Name, Email and Phone Number (person to contact about technical issues, award and ongoing communication) Budget Guidance:
To qualify for funds, teams must have their employer on board and be ready to implement academic your 2015 – 2016.
Applications will be reviewed by a team consisting of Project SEARCH Statewide Coordinator, Department of Ed and MRS.
Funds that are requested cannot be utilized retroactively. Requested funds must be utilized during FY 15 and FY 16. “Soft Skills/J ob Readiness Training is funding for a provider (teacher) to conduct the PS classroom
component. Funds requested for Soft Skills/J ob Readiness Training is funding may only be requested for
new PS programs and may not be requested more than two fiscal years. PS Technical Assistance is a new fee and applies only to new sites. The “Other” category in the budget box can be any VR service In support of PS Programming. There is no deadline for budget requests but funds are limited and will be allocated upon request
and approval by a stakeholder approval committee. Funds can be requested at any time during the fiscal year. PS funds are anticipated to be available ongoing pending approval by the Michigan legislature.
