Client Objectives

• Develop an interactive application that educates teenagers on the advantages and disadvantages of leading a healthy and fit lifestyle. The main concept of the app will be information on the nutritional value of cafeteria food.

Client Objectives• Objective: Develop a free downloadable application that

promotes healthier life styles for teenagers through interactive and educational content.

• We are targeting teens ages 12-18• We are trying to promote teen health using an App educating

about healthy food choices. Most teens are uneducated about healthy food choices, and we want to help their knowledge.

• The rationale is that the app is being made for teens by teens.

Deliverables• Cerner Currently uses Cerner Health. Cerner Health is a website that

keeps a virtual medical record viewable by yourself and any healthcare provider. Tools such as the “Fit Bit” (pedometer) track your daily exercise and store the record wirelessly into Cerner Health. Their scales also sync to Cerner Health to track weight loss/gain. This not only saves you the tedious office paper work, but shows yourself how you are managing your health.

• Their perspective: Cerner as a company provides healthcare to their employees- the healthier they are, the less they pay for healthcare

• Consumer perspective: The healthier “I” am, the less I’m paying for healthcare
