    #hat is a Pro$ect %e&ection'

    A refection is a copy o a project that has the ollowing characteristics: Has the same name as the original source project with refection appended to it.

    Internally, contains a link to the source project that allows the application tomerge changes to the refection into the source project.

    Has a what-i status.

    *ssentially a re&ection is a caron copy of a pro$ect! ut unli+e $ust hitting ,opy inP-) a re&ection retains a logical lin+ etween the source pro$ect and the copy whichallows any changes to the copy to e re&ected against the source pro$ect to identifythe impact of change.

    This is particularly useful when calculating potential delays in a #hatIf scenario!especially as P- will pro/ide a summary of the changes for the user to communicateto the pro$ect sta+eholders. In order to allow for a clear change control and reportingprocess when calculating delays with re&ections we will include a aselineintegration later in the slides which supports transparent identi"cation of change.
