    Introduction

I have proposed to implement a House Security System, by making this software you willbe able to detect every person entering your house. Basically it can be used for security

purpose and help you monitor people coming in and out of your home; when no one is at

home. It reuires the use of a heat detector, which will do the recognising, which in turn

has connection with the handphone, template matching is done by the handphone, if thetemplate does not match with the original one then send message to your mobile about

    unknown entry.

!lthough many such house securing systems have been implemented and work very wellbut the draw back is that it reuires the use of e"pensive devices or euipments to

implement all that and this practice is more common in western countries but with

countries like our i.e. #akistan which are underdeveloped and considered to be thirdworld countries who have minimum resources they can$t afford to install such kind of

devices for their homes, but with the passage of time countries like ours trends change

and it has been seen that due to the increase number of internet and mobile usersawareness has been built. So this approach can be beneficial to build and implement a

security system which reuires the use of ine"pensive devices in combination with some

programmed code to handle the functionality.

    Objectives of the project

%ain ob&ectives of the proposed systems include:

%onitor your house when no one is at home.

'o detect unknown person entering your house

'hrough template matching recognition will be done

Informing your mobile about the action taken

Features and functionality of the proposed system

'he proposed system reuires the use of simple devices or euipments like a personal

computer, web camera1digital camera 2one or two which depends upon the situation3 and

last but not least two mobile phones. Basic architecture of the system is that a mobile

phone is attached to the #* via Bluetooth and a camera that does the monitoring i.e.e"tracts frames and compares it with the reference frame to detect any change. 0n

encountering any change it formulates a message a send it to the attached mobile

informing any unknown activity, after receiving the interrupt this attached mobile willsend an S%S to the remote mobile i.e. to the user informing that someone has entered the

    house.

    Possible areas of application

'his pro&ect can be used for security purpose which is not only restricted for homes but

can be easily implemented for various organi4ation, offices, grocery shop or general

    stores etc.

    Limitations and constraints

! main limitation of the system is that the software will not handle the situation if the

electric power supply is turned off, in which case the functionality of the system will fail.

    Testing and completion criteria

0nce the pro&ect is assumed to be complete it can be tested to check its functionality bymaking a fake scenario like it actually installed in a real home i.e. a comparison will be

made among the reference frame which is actually the security area we wish to monitorand the current frame that is e"tracted from the camera if any change occurs it willperform its reuired functionality i.e. real time testing is performed, if all turns out well

then it can be actually implemented for the house or offices etc.
