The scope of work for Brown University covered a number of contracts including

the painting and repairing of 79 Charlesfield Street, student dormitories, the

Geo-Chem Building’s third floor, the Churchill House, and additional residence

halls. Heroica Construction also completed interior renovation work at the Swearer

Center and exterior painting services for University Hall.

Because Brown University is an academ-

ic institution, all of the properties and

work involved required time-sensitive

repairs and maintenance to accommo-

date strict deadlines. These services

were usually scheduled during school

recess and holidays. Brown University

requires all of its contractors to not only

pay strict adherence to starting and

completion dates, but also to complete

Additionally, Brown University has one of the largest invento-

ries of prominent, historic buildings on the Eastside meaning

only the highest quality contractors are awarded work on

these types of structures. Heroica has power washed,

caulked, and painted several historic buildings over the past

five years for Brown University.
