HISTORYThe company was founded in 1973 in Pregassona, Switzerland, by engineer Rinaldo Passera, and began with three employees. In 1977, engineer Mauro Pedretti added strengthand experience to the company by forming the partnership R. Passera + Dott. M. Pedretti, active in Biasca and Pregassona with 10 employees.In 1981, the company was transformed from a simple partnership to a limited company. The office in Lugano was inaugurated in 1985, and in 1992 an office in Zurich. In 1998the Italian branch of the company was created, with offices in Naples and Varese. In 2004, with the arrival of a new shareholder, engineer Giancarlo Rosselli, the companychanged its name to Passera Pedretti & Partners Ltd Consulting Engineers. In 2007-2008 two shareholders (Rinaldo Passera and Mauro Pedretti) left the group. The companychanged its name again in 2011 to Project Partners Ltd Consulting Engineers, assuming its current structure. In 2014 the company became part-owner of the engineering officeAIC Ingénieurs Conseils S.A. in Lausanne and in 2017 of the engineering office Enser Srl, with seats in Faenza, Bologna, Santarcangelo di Romagna and Paris. In 2017 thecompany opened its branch in Colombia, in Floridablanca-Santander.

The company is active in Switzerland and Italy. In addition to the so-called "classic" engineering activities, the direction of the company adopted a collaboration policy withdifferent research institutes, established strong contacts with the Swiss Federal Institutes of Technology and promoted the technology transfer from the academic world to theindustrial environment.
