System Testing Results Mechanical Testing Electrical Testing
› Verified 48VDC-to-5VDCconversion
› Verified voltagelevel isolation
› Isolated motor with Emergency Stop switch› Successfully powered wheel speed sensors &
received pulses› Implemented traction control algorithm on
microcontroller
![Page 10: Project P13261 - Introduction](https://reader035.fdocuments.net/reader035/viewer/2022062410/56816398550346895dd49098/html5/thumbnails/10.jpg)
Electrical Diagnostics & Troubleshooting 1) Problem: Unexplained electrical noise at
microcontroller 2) Suspected Sources: Motor controller or motor 3) Behavior: Throttle between Idle & Wide Open 4) Diagnostic Steps:
› Added reverse protection diode to DC-to-DC converter (no change)
› Added triple capacitive filtering network to motor terminals (no change)
› Disconnected DC-to-DC converter (all noise gone) 5) Solution: Discovered incorrect WSS wiring
