ESS 2222 – Kyle Ochsner Project Guidelines The paper is to be on a topic of your choice, as long as it relates to resistance training and/or conditioning. Research something that intrigues your interest and that you want to learn more about in the area of exercise and sports science. Your paper should consist of at least these three points: 1) Summary of article 2) How it applies to resistance training and conditioning 3) Your thoughts and opinions (reflection) on the article Format: -12 point font (Hand written assignments will automatically receive a “0”) -Double space -Minimum of 150 words -Maximum of 1 single page (front side only) -Peer Reviewed article - Scientific journals (ex.: Journal of Strength and Conditioning, Research Quarterly, Journal of Athletic Training, and etc.) -Proper Citation: Author(s). (Year Published). Title of Article. Name of Journal. Volume number (Issue number), page number(s). Example: Carnpinelli, R. N., Otto, R. M. & Winett, R. A. (2004). A critical analysis of the ACSM position stand on resistance training: insufficient evidence to support recommended training protocols. Journal of Exercise Physiology Online. 7(3), 1-60. Rubric
