TYPES OF VOLCANOS● There are volcanos on

land and under the sea.

● There are three types of volcanoes.

● Active volcanoes erupted and can erupt again.

● Dormant volcanoes are sleeping.

● Extinct volcanoes can't erupt again.

ACTIVE VOLCANOES● Kilauea is an active

volcano in Hawaii. It's the most active volcano in the world. The island of Hawaii is growing bigger and bigger because of the eruptions.

● Arenal is an active volcano in Costa Rica. Tourists go to see the volcano at night.

DORMANT VOLCANOES

● Mount Fuji in Japan is dormant at the moment.

● Its last eruption was in 1707.

EXTINCT VOLCANOES

● Anatahan is an island in the Pacific Ocean.

● Scientists said it was extinct but it erupted in 2003

Vesuvius is an extinct volcano.It's in Italy.There was a terrible eruption in the past.When Vesubius erupted there was a lot of ash .It was impossible to breath and a lot of people died.The ash covered the city of Pompeii.
