I have since taught elementary and middle school children in the great state of Virginia. (Third grade will always be my favorite!)  In 2003, I earned my Master’s Degree in Supervision and Administration from Regent University.  From 2004 to 2006 I served as an Elementary school Assistant Principal.  Since 2006, I have served as the Testing Specialist in the Accountability Department of Stafford County Public Schools.

About the Author Currently, I serve as the Testing Specialist for Stafford County Public Schools in Stafford County, Virginia.  As Testing Specialist, it is my responsibility to maintain the integrity of the Virginia Accountability System and all related functions for the school division which consists of 26,000+ students. After graduating in 1998, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Elementary Education from the University of Maryland, I began my educational career as an elementary school teacher in Baltimore City Public Schools.
