OverviewThis course is designed for orthopaedic surgeons involved in the careand management of patients with trauma injuries or degenerative pathologies involving knee and shoulder. The indications, rationale andtechniques regarding the mini-invasive and arthroscopic surgery will beemphasized. Learning methods will include live surgery, lectures, paneldiscussions and workshops to improve daily surgical practice.Each day will be devoted to a specific topic (i.e. Shoulder, Knee, Elbowand Wrist), with a special attention to live surgery: internationally-renowned surgeons have been invited to ensure the high quality of theevent.

Educational ObjectivesAt the end of this course, attendees should be able to:• Recognize and understand pathologies with treatment options• Evaluate and manage traumatic injuries• Selection criteria of different surgical techniques• Enhance the successful and effective approaches of arthroscopic and

minimally invasive surgery

Live SurgeryThanks to the cooperation of the Istituto Codivilla Putti, the renownedhospital in Cortina, during the course the surgical operations being performed in its operating theatre will be shown live. The Chairmen will act as a link between the surgeons and the course participants convened in the Auditorium.
