DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN BOHOL

DAY 2: BOHOL COUNTRYSIDE TOUR

• Breakfast at the hotel

• Bohol Exclusive Countryside Tour:Enjoy the guided countryside tour of Bohol after breakfast. The morning begins with a visit to the. BloodCompact Shrine. The Sandugo was a blood compact, performed in Bohol between the Spanish explorer MiguelLópez de Legazpi and Datu Sikatuna, the chieftain of Bohol, on March 16, 1565, to seal their friendship as partof the tribal tradition. Just 5-10 minutes away, Baclayon Church is the next stop. Constructed out of coral cut bylocal artisans into square blocks. It is said that the whites of a million eggs were mixed with lime to cement thecoral stones together. The inner facade of the church is Classically inspired, while the outer facade dates to theearly 1900’s, added by the Recollects is a portico decorated by three arches. The Philippine Tarsier, (Tarsiussyrichta), is very peculiar small animal. In fact it is one of the smallest known primates, no larger than adultmen's hand. Mostly active at night, it lives on a diet of insects. While on the way to Loboc River Cruise, you willdrive through Mahogany Man-made Forest stretching in a two-kilometer stretch of densely planted Mahoganytrees located in the border of Loboc and Bilar towns.

• Loboc River Cruise is one of top destinations in the island province of Bohol, aside from the Chocolate Hillsand its Tarsiers. A cruise along Loboc River with buffet lunch and live performances onboard the boat is afeature in almost every Bohol one-day tour itinerary. The next stop is the Butterfly Farm which houses abutterfly garden, a restaurant and more. It is Bohol’s first butterfly livelihood breeding program aiming toprotect the butterfly population through breeding and releasing and plant research. The Chocolate Hills areprobably Bohol's most famous tourist attraction. It consists of approximately 1,268 hay stack hills with heightsranging from 40 to 120 meters. During the summers, the dome-shaped grass covered limestone hills dry upand turn brown, transforming the area into seemingly endless rows of chocolate "kisses“.

DAY 3: BALICASAG ISLAND HOPPING

Balicasag Island Sanctuary is a small island off the coast of Panglao, Bohol with a healthy and preserved coral reef full of school of fish and even sea turtles!

DAY 4: FERRY TRANSFER TO CEBU

• Breakfast at the resort / Check-out• Transfer to pier• Ferry transfer from Tagbilaran to Cebu• Upon arrival, experience a grand welcome by Sinulog dancers at the pier terminal exclusively for the group

DAY 5: TWIN CITY TOUR

• Twin City Tour:While on the way to Basilica Minore del Santo Niño, participants will have a running tour along Colon Street,Osmena Circle and Capitol Site. Cebu’s holiest church, Basilica Minore del Santo Niño, houses a reveredFlemish statuette of the Christ child (Santo Niño) that dates to Magellan’s time. The church is no strangerto hardship. Established in 1565 (the oldest church in the Philippines) and burnt down three times, it wasrebuilt in its present form in 1737. Magellan’s Cross is just 5-10minutes walk away from the church.Ferdinand’s Catholic legacy, a large wooden cross, is housed in a stone rotunda (built in 1841) across fromCebu City Hall. The crucifix on show here apparently contains remnants from a cross Magellan planted onthe shores of Cebu in 1521. Next is the Heritage of Cebu Monument. This is a representation andillustration of sculptures depicting significant and symbolic events in the history of Cebu back from thetime of Rajah Humabon to the recent beatification of the Cebuano martyr, Pedro Calungsod. Just fewsteps away from the monument, the Yap-Sandiego Ancestral House considered to be one of the oldestresidential houses in the Philippines, was built sometime between 1675 and 1700. It was originally ownedby a Chinese merchant named Don Juan Yap and his wife, Doña Maria Florido. They had 3 children,namely, Maria, Eleuterio, and Consolacion Yap. Stop in a local dry market to buy some local delicacies ofCebu like dried mango, mango puree, dried fish, otap and many more.

One of the remarkable guitar-makers in Cebu is the Alegre Guitar Factory. The shop is owned andmanaged by Fernando M. Alegre. It is by far the most impressive-looking guitar factory in Abuno, Lapu-Lapu City. Its world-class guitars never cease to impress seasoned guitarists and musicians. The Lapu-Lapu Shrine is a 20-meter bronze statue located in the Mactan Shrine park in Punta Engaño, MactanIsland, Cebu. The statue was erected to honor Rajah Lapu-Lapu, the native chieftain of Mactan Islandwho defeated Ferdinand Magellan during the historic Battle of Mactan in 1521. The Magellan Shrine is alarge memorial tower built in 1866 to honor Portuguese explorer Ferdinand Magellan and is built on thearea where Magellan is believed to have been killed in 1521.

DAY 6: OSLOB WHALESHARK ENCOUNTER AND KAWASAN FALLS

• Oslob Whaleshark Encounter with sidetrip at Kawasan Falls:Pick-up at the hotel is 5am with packed breakfast inside the van. Sit back and relax as you enjoy the 3-hour drive to Oslob. Once you arrive you will need to register and take a short orientation where the do'sand dont's will be explained to you. From here you will be given a life jacket and escorted to one of themany small boats that will paddle you out to where the Whale Sharks can be seen swimming gracefullythrough the clear waters (around 100m offshore). The Oslob, Cebu whale sharks (Rhincodon typus) areconsidered as the living species of the 'largest fish in the world'. Its huge size resembles that of a whale,which exactly explains why they are called as such. The surprising fact about these 'gentle giants' is thatthey only eat krills (or small shrimps), a fact that counters the common knowledge that bigger creaturesusually eat much bigger than shrimps.

• From the entrance you will have to walk uphill for about 1.5 km to get to the first waterfall. KawasanFalls is a three-stage cascade of clear turquoise water from mountain springs located in the jungles ofthe Cebu island. The waterfall is considered as a pearl of the Philippines. Aquamarine water, lushtropical greenery, stone vaults, coolness and freshness. Kawasan Falls is a multi-layered falls located inBarangay Matutinao. The cold and clear water cascades through layers of waterfalls from KabukalanSpring before going to Matutinao River and Tañon Strait.
