TARGET AUDIENCE This program is designed to enhance knowledge, com- petence, and performance of U.S. transplant surgeons, transplant coordinators, nephrologists, nephrology fellows, and other dialysis care providers, in cutting edge topics in kidney transplantation. Also welcome are members of the dialysis community. OBJECTIVES Upon completion of this activity, participants should: n Be able to select the correct drugs, correct doses, and monitor the levels; n Be familiar with two strategies to improve systems and processes of care that help prevent infections and monitor antibiotic usage in dialysis facilities; n Be able to implement and set up processes of care such as schedule evaluation of AV access within their facility and advice when to cannulate a maturing access in a timely manner; n Be able to calculate and prescribe the correct nutritional diet; n Have the ability to educate their patients to read food labels correctly.
