Walgren Company was founded in 1955. Its mission was supplying specialty chemicals and equipment to anodizers. Within a few years, the company had incorporated Arnold Parker Inc. and had developed the capability to engineer and manufacture plating equipment.

By 1962, Walgren was a full-service company, with substantial capabilities for engineering, manufacturing, controls integration, installation and service. Our first automated finishing line was completed in the early 1970's. Internal control technology followed in the late 80's.

Today, Walgren is a synergistic organization pushing the edge of "best available" technology to provide next-generation solutions for metal finishers. Our resources include two US facilities with more than 65,000 sq. ft. of manufacturing space, advanced CNC systems, bridge cranes, paint booths, 5 types of hoists, MIG/TIG welding stations, advanced SolidWorks 3D modeling capability, an extensive tooling inventory, and some of the most experienced electrical and mechanical engineers in the industry.
