A Memorandum of understanding was signed with Textile Committee on 20th, Feb 2012. Our undergraduate students underwent one month training under the Integrated Skill Development Scheme (ISDS), Government of India in the year 2012-2013 on Textile Testing & Quality Control.
Collaboration with South India Textile Research Association (SITRA), our Postgraduate students underwent professional courses on “Medical Textiles and Technical Textiles” under the scheme of (ISDS), Ministry of Textiles, Government of India, from 15th Feb- 2nd May, 2013.

Actively participated in various outreach activities like National Service Scheme and
Community Social Service for 20 years as Programme Officer and Assistant Programme
Officer. Organized many special residential camps and special activities such as blood
donation camp, general medical camp, promotion of Small Savings Scheme, dental check up
camp, AIDS awareness, educate nutrition health and hygiene to the village people.
