The Danish Energy Industries Federation (DI Energy) is a private business association for companies within the energy industry; utilities, manufacturers, service providers and investors in the energy sector. DI Energy’s vision is that Denmark is home to a strong, competent and competitive energy industry leading the way for the energy transition in Denmark, Europe and the world.

The Danish energy industry is part of the energy transition. Denmark is an international energy showcase and Danish companies provide the knowledge, technologies and solu-tions to enable it. Focus BioEnergy

Focus BioEnergy is an engineering and project company specializing in servicing the industry in the transaction from fossil fuel to green energy. The company focuses on con-version of biomass into energy by combusting, and thereby creating thermal energy in the form of steam. Brewery VestfyenFocus BioEnergy implemented the solution switching from fossil fuels to primary biofuels at the brewery Vest-fyen in 2015. Thus, the company repla-ced the brewery’s process of heating with oil with a process of heating with wood chips sourced from residual wood in the Danish forestry and wood works industry. This solution has enabled the brewery to reduce its carbon impact and minimize its energy expenses.

Bligh Bank, substation12 September 2016, the Bligh Bank top-side was installed on its foundation in the North Sea about 45 km northwest of the Belgian port Zeebrugge. The installation took place 16 months after signing of a contract between BladtIndustries/Semco Maritime and Nobel-wind for the delivery and installation of the Bligh Bank topside. Energising of the 220/33 kV transformer will be the last job to be carried out after which the platform can be delivered to Nobel-wind. The project was completed bymid-February 2017.
