CLINICAL SKILLS-SURGICAL- Surgeon without borders- Operated above 4,500 patients of EMPYEMA THORACES and innovated KANT’S MODIFIED OPEN DRAINAGE presented and accepted in large number of countries- Trained and established a thoracic surgery wing at Surgery department and specific EMPYEMA WARD at my previous institution.- Pioneered DGHAL and RAR in Haemorrhoids, almost writing off Surgery in this common problem and established ANO RECTAL WING with all state of art gadgets. Innovated new procedure “Kant’s Mucopexy” in 3&4 Haemorrhoids- Developed technique of “Flapless Thyroidectomy”- Established and innovated State of art Diabetic foot facility in General surgery –presented nationally and globally.

WRITER- Published six books, two received UP state Hindi Sansthan awards and one received central Governments award for writing original book in Hindi. - Six published books include: Rakh ke dher par, Mamta tu na gayi mere man se, Manavta ka abhishap Tapedik, Ummid (Head Injury Care Manual), Tuta mandir sapnon ka, Piles to smiles.- Regular “Tobacco kills” bulletin- Regularly writing on health and social issues in various magazines, journals and columns in esteemed daily news papers.- Three books awaiting publication.

ARTIST- Compared all important programs of KG’s Medical College and later Medical University.- Performed several times in plays, dramas, sang gazals and directed several quickies, plays, skids based on health issues.

EMPATHETIC APPROACH & CREATIVITYInspired students and residents for an empathetic and considerate behaviour with public, relatives, students and other people coming across us

I had regular presentations before my students, residents and also employees to inspire the frustrated and depressed students by positive attitude by self demonstration and role playing.

SPIRITUALI have been coordinating with Brahmkumaris for meditation and positive attitude. This helped us in reducing anger and being cordial, affectionate and less reactive to others. There were regular programs with Surgery department for students, employees and Tobacco or drug addicts. I have facilitated spiritual discussions at Brahmakumari centres in Ireland, Thailand and India, among others.
