Tanisha Bradford, SHRM-CP, is a HR Director for Midstream Energy Holdings dba Vapor Oilfield Services. She started her HR career 14 years ago and has worked in all aspects of HR, including payroll and benefits. Tanisha is a member of national SHRM and local SHRM chapter, East Central Mississippi HR Association, where she serves as a board member. She received her HR certification, SHRM-CP, from SHRM in 2017. She enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband, Chris and their two children, CJ (7) and Aaryn (4).

Steven Brown, CPA, CGMA is the VP of Finance/CFO for Anderson Regional Health System. Steven is a licensed CPA in the State of Mississippi. He is a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) and has completed the Healthcare Lean Training at MSU CAVS Extension. He is a member of the American Institute of CPAs, Mississippi Society of CPAs and Healthcare Financial Management Association. He serves as treasurer for the Meridian Lions Club and Poplar Springs Drive United Methodist Church. He and his wife Kristi have one daughter, Grace.

Dusty Culpepper is the Director of Physician Recruitment and Outreach at Anderson Regional Health System. He has been employed at Anderson for 16 years, both in Human Resources and the Medical Staff Office. Dusty serves on the Lauderdale County School Board, Fellowship of Christian Athletes Board, East Mississippi Business Development Board of Directors, United Way Executive Board, and is a facilitator for Leadership Lauderdale adult and youth programs. In his spare time, Dusty enjoys coaching for his son’s travel baseball team, and triathlon training.

Lynette Cockrell serves as the Accounts Payable Manager at Anderson Regional Medical Center. She has spent 20 years in the healthcare field working directly with medical billing, insurance, customer service, and accounting. Lynette was a member in the MSU Meridian DECA chapter and held the roles of parliamentarian, secretary, and vice president. She placed first in the state DECA competition in the Business Ethics event and participated in the international competition in California. Lynette and her husband Dana have three children, Maggie, Abby, and Ben.

Ashley Davidson currently serves as an Administrative Assistant for the Surveillance Department at Pearl River Resort (PRR). She previously worked in Human Resources, also at PRR, as an HR Specialist. Ashley is a creative and outgoing individual who loves traveling and meeting new people. She is a member of the Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians and strongly believes in maintaining and promoting her culture and is a proud mother of her son, Karson.

Laura Davis-Carmichael is the Community Development Director for the City of Meridian where she leads many economic and cultural programs in the community. She also serves as Executive Director for the Meridian Council for the Arts. She serves on the board of directors for the Jimmie Rodgers Foundation, Meridian Area Navy League, Meridian Museum of Art, and Greater Meridian Health Clinic. Laura enjoys painting, traveling, kayaking, and volunteering for community organizations. Laura resides in Meridian with her husband, Scott Carmichael, and their four children.

Deidra Dickerson is a Plant Financial Analyst for Bimbo Bakeries USA where she has been employed for 36 years. Her analytical nature has helped her obtain extensive experience in inventory control and accounting at the bakery. Deidra had the opportunity to serve as the Student Association President during her senior year at MSU-Meridian. She is a member of the Alpha Chi Honor Society and was a recipient of the Spirit of State Award. Her hobbies include cruising, traveling, reading, scrapbooking, and watching sports. Deidra resides in Collinsville with her husband of 25 years.

Sonny Dean’s 35-year career includes training at Southwest State Community College in the fields of Machinist and Draftsman, an AA degree from Meridian Community College, as well as a BBA degree from Mississippi State University. He has held positions in computer-controlled machining, engineering, and management in the manufacturing industry. He currently works in a manufacturing support position within the Aerospace industry, with certifications in engineering software, laser systems, and manufacturing processes. Sonny enjoys training Quarter Horses and spending time with his family.

Lenray Gandy, FSR, is the Lead Field Service Representative for the Navy Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI) at Meridian Naval Air Station. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam era, later joining the U.S. Navy participating in numerous military campaigns. He retired with various service decorations. Lenray’s career continued as a Project Manager/Administrative Officer at NAS. He earned an AAS in Computer Networking Technology from Meridian Community College, is COMPTIA Security + certified, and a member of Phi Beta Sigma. He serves as Assistant Pastor of the Laurel Breese Church of the Nazarene.

Zetella Gooch is the owner of Gooch Consulting and Event Services. She is an Accredited Event Designer through The Institute of Wedding and Event Design, and graduate of The Wilton School of Cake Decorating and Confectionery Art. Zetella is a member of Business Network International (BNI) serving as Area Director Consultant for Central and Southern MS; Rankin County Chamber of Commerce; The Source Network for Women in Business; and The Better Business Bureau. She was honored with the Spirit of the Promise Award, Mississippi’s Top 50 Leading Business Women and 2018’s Top 10 Finalist for Mississippi’s Business Woman of the Year.

She has a 30-year career in accounting and HR management with Multi-County Community Service Agency and the State of Mississippi. She also has extensive experience in grant writing and project management. She enjoys desktop publishing, traveling and working at her church. Angela often volunteers with local organizations whenever possible, and serves as a tax preparer for the United Way of East Mississippi.

Tyrone Johnson is one of the newest members of Meridian City Council. He is a seven-year member of the Mississippi Air National Guard 186 Air Refueling Wing and is a facility manager at Balfour Beatty. A native of Meridian, Tyrone graduated from Meridian Community College and MSU-Meridian. He is a member of Phi Beta Sigma, where he is very active in the community. His hobbies include motivational speaking. Tyrone travels the state of Mississippi speaking with groups, students, inmates and others. Johnson, his wife Tcarro, and their five children attend Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church.

Gloria Leader has been in the Casino Industry for 39 years and she has worked in positions ranging from dealer to senior Table Games Manager. She is currently the Gaming Training Manager for Pearl River Resort. She has held positions outside the casino industry as a tax preparer as well. Her career has given her the opportunity to live and work in New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Mississippi and the submersion in the vastly different areas has been a learning experience. She currently lives in Philadelphia with her husband, Shawn. They have two children, Brooke and Christopher.

Brent Mabry is the CEO Staff Assistant at East Mississippi Electric Power Association(EMEPA). Other positions that he has held include sales clerk (Lauderdale County Farm Supply), Engineering Intern (EMEPA), and Design Engineer (EMEPA). In 2016, he received his Professional Engineering License. He enjoys hunting, fishing, and farming in his spare time. Brent lives in Lauderdale County with his wife Megan and two children, Judd and Madalyn.

Tanisha A Marshall is a Project Manager for Southern Company. She received her Project Management Professional certification in 2016. During her 17-year career she has had the opportunity to experience several aspects of the utility industry. Tanisha has held various roles in design, construction, performance reliability and project management. She is a published author and in her spare time, she enjoys reading, writing, and traveling.

Casey May is the Benefits Analyst Manager at Anderson Regional Health System, where she is responsible for administering benefit programs to attract, retain, and motivate over 1,200 employees. As a licensed Life and Accident insurance producer, Casey has over 20 years of insurance experience, focusing primarily on employee ben-efits. She is a member of DECA, Alpha Chi National Honor Society, and East Central Mississippi Human Resource Association. In 2017, Casey was named a top 10 finalist in Business Research at the DECA International Career Development Conference. Casey lives in Meridi-an with her husband, Danny, and three sons, Jacen, Eli, and Slade.

Karen McPherson is the District Administrator of the State of Mississippi Department of Health. She is a 2010 graduate of the Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine’s South Central Public Health Leadership Institute. She holds Mississippi State Personnel Board Supervisory Management (CSM) and Public Man-ager (CPM) certifications. She also has certifications and training as Incident Commander, Division Director, in crisis management and leadership, pandemic influenza, mass fatalities, among others. Karen served on the Executive Board of the Mississippi Public Health Association. She lives in the Dalewood Lake Community at Lauderdale with her husband.

Steven Miller is the Operations Assistant at First State Bank in Waynesboro, MS. His 13-year career includes positions at Ramey’s Enterprises, Wal-Mart, and First State Bank. In addition to his un-dergraduate degree, he also received his Associate Degree in Business Administration from Jones County Junior College. While in college, he was a member of Alpha Sigma Lambda; Sigma Alpha Lambda; and Collegiate DECA, where he served such positions as President, State Vice President, and Secreary/Treasurer. Steven lives in Laurel, MS and has one son, Caden.

Matthew Purvis is a Network Specialist at Mississippi State University-Meridian. In addition to his undergraduate degree, Matthew is a Leadership Lauderdale graduate. His professional IT training includes, Crestron, Microsoft and ITIL. He enjoys traveling, listening to music, reading, and spending time with family and friends.

Tony Pompelia is the President & Owner of Leading Edges of Mississippi, a marketing and advertising firm located in Meridian. Tony has held key marketing positions with several large corporations prior to opening his firm. He was a member on several boards, including the Meridian Community College Foundation Board, where he served as President; East MS Business Development Corporation Board; Alliance for Growth; Community Arts Team-Ensuring the Arts for Any Given Child; and MSU-Meridian Dean’s Advisory Council. In 2009, he was inducted into the Meridian Community College Hall of Fame. Tony has also served as a Lecturer in the MSU-Meridian Division of Business.

Kyle Rutledge has served as Lauderdale County Supervisor of District 5 since 2012. Prior to his current position, Kyle taught 7th grade science for Meridian Public Schools and later for Lauderdale County Schools, where he still coaches football and runs a bus route at Southeast Middle School. He also helps run his father’s auto repair shop, Whynot Garage. Kyle is a member of the Mississippi Foothills Land Trust, Rose Hill Cemetery Company, and the Illuminations Center for Dyslexia Board, and serves as a deacon at Bethany Baptist Church. He enjoys working on the family cattle farm and racing dirt track cars. Kyle resides in Whynot with his wife, Jodi, their son, T.K., and daughter, Chandler.

Wills Scarbrough is an Outside Plant Engineer at AT&T. Entering the third year of his career, Wills manages engineering operations over a large geographical area, and works on design projects across the Southeastern United States. He was a founding father of Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity at Mississippi State University, where he served as Chapter President. In his spare time, Wills enjoys playing golf, playing the guitar, fly fishing, and painting. He is a resident of Meridian, MS.

Stephanie is an idea-oriented thinker with extensive experience in policy writing. She is a Daisy Scout Troop Leader, where she helps influence young girls to be leaders in their community. She enjoys traveling, reading, arts & crafts projects, and being a mom. Stephanie lives in Quitman with her husband and two children, Karma and Patrick.

Mississippi State University’s accredited 30-hour Professional Master of Business Administration (MBA) program at Mississippi State’s Meridian Campus offers students an affordable and flexible opportunity to participate in useful, well-designed courses emphasizing management, marketing, finance, economics, business information systems, and quantitative analysis. • A bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution

• Competitive GPA

• Competitive GMAT/GRE score administered in last five years

• GMAT or GRE exam submission may be waived if record of significant professional work experience is provided

• Professional experience of greater than five years is required. Evidence of employment record must be included. Applicants with a master’s degree or higher would also be considered for the GMAT/GRE waiver

• Approval of a GMAT/GRE waiver does not imply admission to the full-time MBA on the Starkville campus or the Online MBA Program
