Welcome to Professional Beauty GCC 2015I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for making the time in your busy schedule to visit the first Middle Eastern edition of the Professional Beauty exhibition and Professional Spa & Wellness Convention.

Following the successful launch of Professional Beauty GCC magazine in March 2014, it was clear there was a need for an exclusive exhibition for professionals working within the beauty, hair & spa environment.

Our main objective for the region is to raise industry standards and awareness, a philosophy at the core of our global editions be it in the UK, India or South Africa.

The opulent Madinat Jumeirah venue was chosen to set the scene for our inaugural event. Here we have endeavoured to create professional environment where networking and business opportunities can be nurtured.

Many of the brands exhibiting will be using the exhibition as a platform to announce the latest launches, special offers and new techniques, so be sure to speak to representatives on the stands for more details.

As a spa professional, you will probably have some knowledge of the basic benefits and differences between hot and cold thermal experiences such as sauna and steam. But advanced technology and design now allow for a far greater wellness experience. Thermal experiences have moved on from the basic sauna and have evolved into more holistic and beneficial wellness experiences, either as individual or as combined experiences, and it is only lack of knowledge that prevents us from taking the real benefit of these equipment into our spas and private residences.

Why did you get involved with the beauty industry?

I had acne and I thought if I learned about skincare I could treat the condition, as great skin was vital for my modelling career. As soon as I started treating people I had the strangest feeling I was home. That feeling has never left me; it’s just continued to grow.

What has been the key to your success?

Firstly, I never really see myself as that successful, although I do have to give myself a little pinch when I think about my 230 Heaven Spas worldwide. I never feel as though I’m working and I love helping people and solving their skincare problems. When I developed a cure for my acne it was an amazing feeling, because I knew how low I felt with spots. The phone call from Victoria Beckham to thank me for my Age Defiance Cream was one of the high points of my career.

Why did you take the holistic route?

Spiritualism, believing in good thoughts and healing is just who I am, it runs in my family. Choosing organic ingredients was again the only way truly to help the skin. Heaven is a results driven range, every product works straight away.

How has the beauty industry changed over the years?

The frozen, puffy face is out of fashion now because so many comedians are ridiculing it. The natural alternatives which do work, such as the Heaven Bee Venom Mask and a few other good ingredients are changing the world of beauty.

Why did you decide to make your own product range?

Because I’m allergic to parabens and chemicals in products, so this pushed me to make my own range. Now Heaven Skincare is one of the World’s most sought after ranges as there are still no real alternatives to chemical free products that achieve visible results.

Describe your product line.

Which are your bestsellers?

Our best sellers are the quick action keys to perfect skin: SOS oil for allergies and tissue repair, Age Defiance for plumping out lines and treating acne and psoriasis, Bee Venom Mask for a natural botulinum toxin alternative, Bee Venom Eyes for puffiness and fine lines and Divine Cream with orange oils for sun damage and pigmentation.

What inspired you to create the Bee Venom Mask?

I caught sight of my reflection in the mirror and thought I looked old. Not wanting to use botulinum toxin, I began working on a natural alternative. I now have a patented Ingredient which I won a Gold Stevie Award for in 2013, ABEETOXIN®.

What is so special about the Bee Sting facial?

Its dramatic results shock people. Formerly facials were either relaxing or they achieved a gradual improvement. After one Bee Sting Facial clients see a radical change in their face shape and complexion, yet it’s still a relaxing treatment. Clients were immediately astounded by the transformation of their skin. I too, was pleased with the results.

You have a lot of famous clients, can you tell us about them?

I never speak of my high profile clients out of respect, although if they wish to talk about their Heaven treatments that is up to them, which obviously makes me very happy when they do.

Your products are a Worldwide success, why did you choose shifnal not London for your flag ship store?

In Shifnal the poeple are wonderful, our clients come here from all over the World and it brings new customers to a place I love”

Why change the products when they are so good?

The name for the new range is #stratosphere because of the intensification, your skin will be out of this World when you use them for just one day.
