Welcome Letter

It gives a great pleasure on the behalf of the Lebanese Society of Obstetrics and Gynecology (LSOG) to welcome you to the 21st Annual Meeting of the society that will be held at Habtoor Hotel, Beirut, November 9 – 11, 2017.This year, the meeting will focus on the best practices in women’s health and will raise the challenge whether it is “Time to Change”. New guidelines, new evidence-based research, and new technologies are shaping our daily practice and management of our patients. All of this will be discussed in plenary sessions, debates, seminars, and workshops. In this regard, the Scientific Committee has worked hard on creating an exciting and outstanding program that will cover all the subspecialties. Hot topics in maternal health, fetal health, minimal invasive surgery, oncology, reproductive endocrinology and infertility, conflict medicine, and cosmetic gynecology will be discussed. In addition, four precongress state-of-the-art workshops will be given including live laparoscopic surgery. All of this will be delivered by world known brilliant speakers and leaders in their fields. It is also of great pleasure we announce that in preparation for LSOG 2017, our society is collaborating with two prestigious societies: La Collège National des Gynécologues et Obstétriciens Français (CNGOF), and the Federation of Arab Gynecology Obstetrics Societies (FAGOS).Over the past 20 years, the LSOG Annual Meeting has grown to reach international standards and became the most important and successful obstetrics and gynecology meeting in the region. I, therefore, invite you to be part of this international event, and to take the opportunity to meet old friends, make new ones, and enjoy our vibrant city.
