The FLEXPRO™ Kammprofile gasket has three key features: the compressibility of a sheetgasket; the sealability of a spiral wound gasketand the ease of handling a solid metal gasket.

FLEXPRO™ Kammprofile gaskets are the idealproduct choice for standard pipeline and heatexchanger applications. They provide a high levelof sealing integrity but with the ability to seal atseating stresses normally associated with sheetmaterials. CASE STUDY: WEDGE KAMMPROFILE

We were contacted late one Friday with the problem,by Sunday the product had arrived on site in Nigeria. The issue was the misalignment of the matingcomponent which meant a standard gasket could notbe used, a bespoke Kammprofile was the perfect fit. This highlights our capability to turn a customerproblem into a innovative solution.

CUSTOM SHAPES –We have developed specialist manufacturing techniques, enabling us to produce FLEXPRO™ Kammprofile gaskets in a wide range of non-circular shapes and sizes.

These are particularly useful for applicationsthat need the narrow sealing element and lowstress seating of a kammprofile, buttraditionally have had to use lower gradeproducts such as jacketed or metal reinforcedgaskets. Applications include oval, obroundand square manway and boiler door joints andlarge rectangle gaskets for fin-fan headerboxes.

The RTJ-Kamm gasket combines the high pressure seal of an RTJ withthe low stress sealing of a Kamm. The sealing faces are serrated andfaced which means this style is idealfor use with damaged flange groovesor in low load applications.
