MapeWrap 21 is a 100%-solids, moisture-tolerant, low-viscosity epoxy resin for impregnating MapeWrap composite system fabrics by a wet layup method immediately before they are placed. MapeWrap 21 may be applied by an automated saturation device or manually to provide complete encapsulation of both carbon and glass fiber fabrics.

Uni-Directional Carbon Fiber Fabric

MapeWrap C Uni-Ax 300 is a high-strength, unidirectional carbon fiber fabric that, when used with the MapeWrap family of two-component epoxy adhesives, forms an externally bonded fiber-reinforced polymer (FRP) reinforcement system engineered to increase the strength of existing structural elements. MapeWrap C Uni-Ax 300 is applied to the surface of structural members in buildings, parking garages, bridges, marine piles and other structures to contribute significant strength, without increasing the dead load supported by the structure.

Balanced, High-Strength, Bi-Directional Carbon Fiber Fabric

MapeWrap C Bi-Ax is a bi-directional carbon fiber fabric with balanced weight and having a high modulus of elasticity and high tensile strength. MapeWrap C Bi-Ax is suitable for repairing concrete structures and for improving the flexural and shear strength of reinforced concrete elements. It is also used for the confinement of axial-loaded elements (columns, bridge piers, chimneys) subjected to compressive and bending stress, and for seismic strengthening in earthquake areas. MapeWrap C Bi-Ax is installed using the “wet-layup” system where the fabric is saturated immediately before placement and the “dry-layup” system where the fabric is saturated during application.

Balanced, High-Strength, Quadri-Directional Carbon Fiber Fabric

MapeWrap C Quadri-Ax is a quadri-directional carbon fiber fabric especially suited for the strengthening of structural elements that are subjected to compressive and bending stress where the distribution of equal pressure lines are unknown, such as beam connections and axial-loaded concrete structures. It is also used for seismic strengthening of vaulted structures. MapeWrap C Quadri-Ax can be placed using two different methods: the “wet system” with the aid of a machine that helps the impregnation process before placement, and the “dry system” where the resin is hand-applied during installation.

High-Strength, Uni-Directional E-Glass Fiber Fabric

MapeWrap G Uni-Ax is a high-strength, unidirectional E-glass fiber fabric that, when used with the MapeWrap family of two-component epoxy adhesives, forms an externally bonded fiber-reinforced polymer (FRP) reinforcement system engineered to increase the strength of structural elements. When applied to the surface of structural members in buildings, parking garages, bridges, marine piles and other structures, MapeWrap G Uni-Ax improves the seismic performance of concrete columns, masonry and concrete walls, and concrete beam-column connections.

Pultruded Carbon Fiber Plate Pre-Impregnated in Epoxy-Based Resin

Carboplate E 170 is a range of pultruded carbon-fiber-reinforced polymer (CFRP) plates designed for external structural strengthening of existing concrete, wood, masonry and steel members. Carboplate E 170 is externally bonded onto the surface of the substrate to strengthen and stiffen existing structures, using an epoxy resin specifically designed for the application. Carboplate E 170 is protected on both sides by a plastic film, eliminating the need for solvent cleaning of the plates before installation.

Pultruded, High-Strength Carbon Fiber Rod Pre-Impregnated in Epoxy-Based Resin

Maperod C is a range of pultruded carbon fiber rods, with high tensile strength and a modulus of elasticity of 22.5 x 106 psi (155,000 N/mm²). After the plastic film is removed, the Maperod C “near surface-mounted” rods are used for structural repairs and strengthening of structural elements in reinforced concrete, brickwork, stone or volcanic ash that has been damaged by either physical/mechanical stresses or natural events. Maperod C may be used together with the fabrics from the MapeWrap™ range for stronger anchoring, particularly when flexural or shear strengthening operations are carried out.

Uni-Directional Carbon Fiber Cord for Structural Strengthening

MapeWrap C Fiocco is a high-strength cord made from uni-directional carbon fiber threads, designed to be impregnated with MapeWrap 21 to provide structural restoration of concrete and masonry elements. MapeWrap C Fiocco is particularly suited for restoration of historical structures, including vaulted ceilings and walls of brick and stone facades. MapeWrap C Fiocco cords are available in diameters of 1/4" (6 mm), 5/16" (8 mm), 3/8" (10 mm) and 1/2" (12 mm), and in 32.8-foot (10-m) rolls.
